After getting knocked out by Marquez, doctors had him checked for Parkinson's disease.

After the fight, Pacquiao took some extensive brain tests and based on those reports, Dr. Raquel Fortun, a forensics expert from the Philippines, believes that something is not right as well.
"When the brain gets shook like that, it's very dangerous. Since it's not truly fixed to you skull, when your brain gets shaken, there are connections that get cut off, and you get small hemorrhages."
Leg cramps is a symptom of Parkinson. Manny has been developing leg cramps which he uses $2,000 creams to alleviate.
Leg Cramps and Restless Leg Syndrome
Having Parkinson's disease can also lead to leg pain or cramps that can be especially worse at night. They may come on suddenly and be quite severe. Leg cramps may subside as you put pressure on the affected leg and move around. You may also develop restless leg syndrome which is an urgent need to move your legs when you are trying to rest.

Ali was in denial of his Parkinson's disease during the end of his boxing career. Many fans believe Ali should have retired before his last few fights and should have never fought Larry Holmes.
Pacquiao fighting Mayweather may end up like the Ali-Holmes fight. Mayweather fights a lot like Holmes and after Mayweather beats Pacquiao, I would hope he considers retiring before his early signs of Parkinson's disease gets worse.
I wouldn't say it's impossible but I do think the frequency of leg cramps Manny gets is abnormal. You can assume it's from hard training but most of the time your muscles just get sore rather than cramping up.
There were some punches in the 4th Marquez fight that had Roy Jones going crazy, shots that Pacquiao took surprisingly well, I remember two in particular that really shocked the heck out of me. That said, Pacquiao has an underrated defense but I too hope he hangs them up soon.
so during the stare-down, manny looked scared as hell...isnt that what you guys say about mayweather, if he breaths, manny is gulping and showing signs of nervousness...yep he's scared as hell, he's gonna get whooped and he knows it.and feints are gonna have him open. He's using the expensive cream and is still scared...
So the evidence you have to support your claim are
1. He got Knocked out
2. He has leg cramps
Stop making threads.
Right, because boxers aren't known to develop Parkinson's disease.
Stop posting.
although this article doesnt prove anything, if i was manny i would really consider hanging it up after his fight with mayweather (win or lose, there's nowhere left to go). pac has taken a lot of shots and even though he hasnt shown any signs of breaking down, these type of disease can happen over night. i made a similar post last week about how a fighter can feel perfectly fine today and then wakes up the next morning and is a completely new person.
I agree. He should consider retirement. Depending on how the match goes and if demand is there, a rematch could be attractive. So that's a likely option if the fight is close.
But other than Mayweather, there's no point fighting anyone else. Robert Garcia said the same thing for either fighter... There's no one else out there. so what's the point? They surely won't train as hard for a lesser fight. And obviously won't sell as well.
yea he was swaying. I just watched the staredown again.
I don't think that's Parkinson's though :lol1:
Just nerves, which both show in one way or the other. I think at one point during the staredown Manny clearly gulps.
During the staredown at the press conference I noticed that Pac could not stay still. He was swaying like he couldn't maintain his balance. It could have just been nerves but I was speaking with some friends and pointed this out & said this might be early signs of Parkinson's in all honesty. Never knew that leg cramps or restless leg syndrome could be a symptom of it. This bears watching over the next few years.

OP is being foolish...and this thread has NO BASIS whatsoever.
The tests weren't for parkinsons...It was for standard brain tests. If the OP did ANY RESEARCH at all, he'd discover PAC has had calf problems for years.
OP needs to GTFO...and be prepared as Pac will win May 2nd.

I've read his calves/leg cramps have bothered him in some way since 2008..before Pac-JMM 2.
His calves are a big part of Pac's physique/athleticism. But it's been showing wear and tear for a while. He's relied on them his whole life so some wear and tear I guess makes sense. His calves were formed when he was a kid...he'd run up and down hills carrying water. He climbed a mountain several times a week to get food and water...and he ran hundreds of miles when he was a kid, never taking public transportation as he was poor.
I thought it was Floyd who's showing signs of Pac kinsons disease.
Symptoms are:
Sudden urge to hire S&C
Sudden cravings for chopping lumbers
Unexplainable thirst for swimming
Involuntary silence
Insatiable hunger for sparring partners
