Floyd was talking about how he wants to find the next ppv fighter for his stable, and was asked if he should get Andre Ward - Floyd's response "We're not in the business of taking a loss".
That Arena is gonna look nice.

sidenote: your pictures showed two different arena proposals; the first two pictures being the waterfront arena idea that the public balked at, with the second two picture being of the actual off-waterfront venue that's being planned (which isn't too far inland anyway)
ward aint getting no love till he drops that tom act hes got going. we want blood
Sad but true. He needs to embrace a bad guy role like Floyd and Broner. He's not a very good **** talker tho and it will seem forced.
lmfao like it makes a difference its still the bay area.

Yep. Thats a great way to sell tix.
And when the new Warriors Stadium is built, Ward will probably fight a lil bit there. For those who a Froch Nuts, that will be in SF. But Ward will get some fights in Vegas, I am sure of that.

Oakland's got 400,000, San Francisco's got 850,000, and San Jose is home to 1m people, all within 50 miles (basically an hour's drive).
Hit those three media markets, and you hit most of the SF Bay Area, home to 5m people

No shit mayweather tell us something we dont know. Not a single person actually cares for ward. Only people who actually care for his fights are the poeple on this damn forum who thinks its their damn duty cause he happens to halfway be the same color as them lmfao.

Broner might generate more money in the short-term, but unlike Broner, Ward is a great fighter and will probably be at the top 8-9 years from now. Broner might not be relevant in 2.
Given how much RNS paid for him, i doubt they will get back there money
Broner might be a short term investment but he pays off.

broner for sure is better for marketing then ward. broner against any name fighter is a huge draw like it or not
I don't care either way, I'd watch both of them. I'm just comparing their numbers and not seeing a notable disparity.
rns?
The whole Broner is a better at marketing hasn't translated to tickets and viewers which exceed those of Ward's.

That's not true. U need to go back n check your figures. Broner sells out in Cincinnati and he always has some of the highest rated boxing shows on premium tv. Same can't be said for ward. Ward is by far the better talent but Broner brings in ratings and cash.
Broner did 6k in Cincinnati and was usually around 1m viewers on HBO/Sho. Ward pulls 7k in Oakland and also does 1m viewers.
Andre Ward is the worst attraction in Boxing, he couldn't sell out a 4000 seat bingo hall in his home town.
.... except that he's already sold +7500 tickets (in 2012 for the Dawson fight).
try again
If people mention a Mayweather vs Cotto rematch, then you can Mention GGG. Mayweather is 5'8 and GGG is 5'9. If GGG can make 154, the fight can happen. F**k Cotto, he had his chance.
dont worry if mayweather beats pac they will just slide ggg name where pacs used to be

Andre Ward is stuck in a similar situation to where Mayweather was when Top Rank marketed him as the quiet "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather Jr; wunderkind talent but never really given the opportunities to launch into a massive star.
Ward has the chits of being a gold medalist and having sold 7500 tickets to the fight against Chad Dawson, nearly three years ago, so he's got a chance; Roc Nation in his corner is even better.
Andre Ward simply needs to get active again. Lock in the June fight in Oakland (wouldn't be shocked if Ward/RNS could get 10k paid fans into Oracle Arena), fight again in the November/December in Oakland or New York, and then fight three times in 2016.
Put the fights on TV, keep Ward's face in the media, with Ward keeping on winning, and he's got a chance to make it.
Floyd's point was that Broner is the far easier sell (likely not as talented as Ward, but he's been given a lot of exposure and he's got a persona that draws a reaction from the boxing audience) if you had to put the money up right now.
