Khan on Algieri now: "You can class him as an A-class opponent." We can class Kahn as being full of sh1t. What happened to Brook, Amir? Khan was right to say that Pacquiao shouldn't have fought Algieri. The only reason he did was because Chris "beat" his stablemate Provodnikov. Algieri is not an A-class opponent, and after he gives Khan a hard time, Khan's stock will drop even further. It won't mean that Chris Algieri is an A-class opponent, it will mean that Amir Khan isn't either.
“I said I wanted to fight Manny Pacquiao,” he told MM. “I offered him the fight to Pacquiao’s team recently and they didn't take it.”
“I got my team to speak to Bob Arum and we got nothing back, and they went with Algieri,” he said.
“He's a nobody.
“Well he's not a nobody. You’ve got to respect him but he's not a big name, and if Manny Pacquiao wanted to make big money in boxing he needs to fight big names.”
:haha:
Yup. Amazing how bull**** has a way of returning in your face.
