I used google search to see if Any Broner vs Algieri fight poll thread has been created. There was no thread.
I now ask the Question to you all. Who do you think would win between Adrien Broner and Chris Algieri.
crickets...no surprise...
Have it your way. Algieri has no advantages here. Broner is faster (both hand and foot speed), better coordinated, and more powerful with any punch you name. Maidana jumped on him early and with his awkward style out toughed him to a clear decision. Problem is Algieri doesn't have that kind of power or fight that style

So. I think this is bad style matchup for Broner. His best chance at a victory here is bad judging. Chris bounces around and wins on his toes. Movement, a quick jab and potshots gets it done.

It's not even that simple, Malignaggi has far more experience fighting at the top level than does Algieri, his footwork is more refined and he offers less to counter off of. Broner has a solid counter left hook that at some point or another will hurt Algieri, a punch Algieri has always shown susceptibility to if you watch this....
The problem is Broner is not a good counter-puncher. Plus, he'll be covering up any time Algieri flurries and Algieri will be gone by the time he's ready to throw in return.
Broner would need to work hard in this fight because that distance is not going to close itself.
Honestly,i would give Broner credit if he beats Algieri, he could have easily lost the Taylor fight which some could still argue he did even with the KD. One thing Algieri has is good stamina, he could run around boxing for 12 rounds without much tiring. Also unlike Paulie he is taller and throws more then just a dam jab, has a nice uppercut and uses more punch variations. Pac was getting caught with shots yes, but Broner does not have Pacs foot-speed and has a low output.
People on this site unfortunately think he is incapable, The truth is that he just chooses not to.
yeah but if he choose to fight on his toes he will depleted his stamina very quickly.
i think it's 50/50 fight but i have more doubt for broner than chris. months ago i still pick broner if he had rematch with Maidana, but after he showing up obese like me 2 months before fight i doubt he ever reach elite level.
chris will win 7-5.
Algieri's new trainer should help out a lot.. lol he had his kickboxing coach as is head trainer formerly..
Algieri by decision. 116-112
And don't forget his advice during pac fight.
BREATHIN BREAthin breathin.
I think Broner would win an easy ud. Algieri is very rugged so he would probably go the distance but Broner would probably floor him a time or two. Pacquiao is much better than Broner but Pacquiao just toyed with Algieri. The score cards were the largest spread between the winner and the loser I have ever heard of. Algieri has a real good trainer now in Jackson. Maybe that will improve him. His trainers did not seem good at all.

When has he fought on his toes???
Even when maidana was beating the p1ss out of him he just chose to stick to the same gameplan....because he can't box on his toes!
exactly.
Broner completely freezes when anyone throws punches at him and his footwork is pretty bad. Paulie had a ton of success against Broner, it was a close fight, and this was a long past prime Paulie! Who was never that great in the first place even in his prime.
I got Chris by UD.

So if he can and chooses not to every single time, why pick Broner?
Although I'd say he boxed a lot more against Molina, but Molina looked extremely sloppy and I definitely think Broner had what it took to finish him that night.
