It's clearly a selling point for Mexican fighter to sell "heart". Obviously one must be gullible to believe every Mexican fighter has more heart than every other race. The referee called the fight after not being able to recover. Everyone knows he has a weak chin and has never quit in his career. It wasn't a lack of heart , but a lack of chin and a good performance from Russell. Not sure why you're so sensitive about this, or why people seem to be offended by any slight mention of race. When speaking of Mexican fighters everyone seems to always bring up their heart, often overlooking/minimizing their skills, should that be offensive as well?

I haven't been reading any backlash in regards to Jhonny Gonzalez saying he has more heart than Gary Rusell Jr because he's "Mexican". Why is that? Imagine if Gary had said before the fight that Gonzalez can't beat him because he's a superior Black man from Africa? The media would have eaten that up... when Hopkins makes racial comments it gets blown up by social media and internet forums. Why does nobody have an issue with Mexican fighters consistently and proudly saying they are superior to other races based on their race?
