He would lose to Thurman so, that leaves Brook, his only obvious next opponent to push a super fight. And to be frank, if I was a name at 147, why fight Khan? What does he bring really? Money?(nope) It's more of a headache to fight him, and the reward is??? If I was on the rise, i'd step past 'em. He's a non, UK fans only want to see him fight Brook, and US fans (after 5 years) are still trying to figure out were to put this guy. Core fans know him, casual fans do not. No money. So, he's just a guy, on a list @ 147. If he never fights again, honestly, would anyone really care?

(Go figure why :lol1:) Because Khan barely got the nod in that fight, and everyone called for a rematch, because a case could have been for a draw. That stated ..... Brook should do what he's doing. After the Danny Garcia disaster he is scared to fight anyone with a whiff of danger about them because he knows he's on his last life. If he gets stopped again it's game over. May 2nd winner can pretty much do what they want. Bingo! They hold all the cards, unless, things happen to make the next challenger mandatory or very legitimate. It will detract from whoever's legacy it they avoid that challenger. For history's sake, a unification is a Cinderella ending.

Brook has the belt. NUFF SAID. Brook will fight Mayweather in September. And Khan will b1tch and moan. And will end up fighting pacquiao, and pacquiao will end his career on a high note after getting beat by Mayweather. By knocking Khan out in rd 1. Yeah I think Khan assumes he's the man. But everyone here @BS, and in the US and the UK (even his fans know) he has no weight. Though he has skills, those skills need to pave the way. He's easily side stepped, for greener pastures.

If Khan gets cold feet again, Tim Bradley would love to fight Brook in the UK. Yeah, but, then I think that title would lose all interest. Tim has no fan base. It's sad, but true.

I disagree, American casuals are far more likely to recognize Khan from his Olympic achievements and time spent as a headliner for HBO than they are to recognize either Brook or Porter. Khan has just been promoted over here as a "next big thing" kind of guy for years longer than Brook or Porter have been (or ever will be). Trust me. Casuals only know Manny and Floyd. Khan, Brook, and Thurman don't even register. And casuals aren't watching Olympic boxing, at all. That's totally a hardcore thing.

That's the idea. Winner of Pac/May fights the winner of Brook/Khan to become undisputed unified champ. Or alternatively if Floyd wins, Cotto to become lineal/Ring champ in 3 divisions at once in September...Khan/Brook in the spring. Yeah, Mayweather has options across the board. Cotto, has a bigger name than Khan or Brook, all though, core fans would hate that match up.

Your looking at it from a core fan perspective. which in turn makes sense only to core fans, Look at it from the general fans perspective. UK fans and USA general interest would be allot more, the money is with Brook v Khan, not Thurman. UK fans follow Brook in droves, Khan also has interest in the UK and a bit in the US. Thurman only has a small fan base in the US that consists of CORE fans. I know. It's my personal preference, and I think it would be ideal, but you're right. It's going to be Brook/Khan if Khan doesn't duck his ass.
