At 154 Canelo wins. He's just too big and strong for Pacquiao.
The pumped up steroid Pacquiao that fought Cotto a few years back would have a good chance but not now.
Alvarez by KO
I remember Freddie Roach saying that Canelo is too big and strong for Manny even at 152 and the only way that fight happens is if Canelo comes down to welterweight. I give Canelo a shot if the fight is at 152 because he is a counter puncher who sets up traps and has a killer right hand. At 147, Canelo would be a dead man walking.
So the 2 lbs should make all this difference? even if he rehydrates to the same weight he rehydrates to on fight night?
Absolutely not, even though I have my suspicions about Pacquiao and I'm not one of his biggest fans, I never thought that the 2 extra lbs Cotto had to lose to fight Pacquiao had anything with Cotto losing the fight, Cotto's style, him being broken down a lot from the Margarito fight and coming off a knock out drag out with B level Clottey had were the main reasons why he lost the fight.
If the fight get's anonunced 10 weeks before the day of the fight you should be able to cut down these extra 2 pounds, it's unfair if they tell you 6 weeks before the fight that you'll have to cut down all the weight plus 2 extra pounds.
YDKSAB
lol thinking cutting weight meaning nothing lmfao. GTFOH
At the real weight of 154 Canelo Stop pacquaio on a body shot, at a catchweight at 152 Pacquaio Knocks out Canelo.

at 154 I think it's kind of even, Pacquiao would be much slower with the extra weight (If he's not using them power pellets) and speed is one of his biggest weapons, his defense and foot movement are not good enough when he's defensive, he doe3sn't have a good chin, plus he can't fight going backwards.
Canelo to me is a B level big man and if Pacquiao loses some of his speed because of the weight he's gonna be a B+ level small man, so I think it would be kind of even.
Pacquiao without a doubt. Canelo has fast hands but isn't active enough and is flat footed. Pacquiao would win on activity alone. Canelo does have size but that won't be enough.
