Good video. Punching bags don't punch back, tho.
What is the point of telling him punching bags dont punch back when the topic is about punching power? you make no sense dude.
They want to know who hits harder who said anything about defense in here?
I think Mayweather probably has more power than people think but the fact is that he never sits down on his punches and is safety first so the reality is that on May 2nd, he will be his usual defensive self and probably win a UD. He's not knocking anybody out. Not because he can't, just because he will always take the safety first approach.
no way anything but this happens. IF by some miracle floyd ko's pac ... i don't know how to finish this thought.
Maidana's hands aren't that bad.
He is pretty fast with his hands, but his feet are slow.
Manny definetly got POWER and SPEED, check this one

True, if Maidana was as slow as the fans say eh is, then he would not land the shots that he does, hell he landed some great shots on Floyd.
He is not the fastest, but all the years i have watched him, i have never thought he was incredibly slow, in fact in some spots he looks reasonably fast.
Most of his punches are dog slow. However his money shot is his over hand right which is very quick and deceptive. He also throws it every chance he can. He is incredibly slow, but very durable, and a great natural fighter with great instincts and ring IQ for his brawling style.
Pacquiao is the better all around puncher with more efficient quick punches that do for sure have plenty of power, considering his size.
Maidana is a strong built, heavy handed fighter, who is slow but has his angles and select punches that are quick.
I am glad you put the about the same choice in the options because I voted their power is the same. The difference is Maidana always hits his hardest and goes for the KO while Pacquiao sometimes doesn't even try to KO his opponent. In his fight with Rios he just safely and clearly won every round but he never punched with full power. Against Mayweather I think he will put full power in many of his punches and he can punch damn hard.
Yup. That's why Floyd is going to be very hard to stop. And it is unlikely that Pac will be able to hit him enough to make him quit like dela Hoya. Pacquiao's best chance is to outwork him and win by decision.
Pacman is not going to be able to outwork Floyd, because Pacman wont be able to trap him in the corner and Pac fights in explosive spurts.
Maidana might have more single shot power but Manny is more likely to knock you down. Just like i would say Maidana hits harder than Danny Garcia, but Maidana couldnt knock down Khan but Danny could, cuz he hits hard and has timing. Maidana does not time his shots or has speed. This means his opponents see the punch coming and might get hurt by the punch but wont fall sometimes. Manny hits almost as hard but has speed and timing and punches from angles so he will hit you when you dont expect it, and that will hurt you even more.
i don't think pacquiao can hit floyd with a harder single shot than the one maidana planted right on mayweather's chin during the rematch at the end of one of the rounds

Raw power = Maidana, as to overall power efficiency it's Manny's.
Maidana is strong but wastes a lot of his punches which probably contributes to his eventual tiredness later on.
With Manny, believe it or not, despite the aggressiveness and spitfire combination punches manny is throwing, he is still way more accurate than everyone not named floyd out there, but darn it, floyd only throws half as much. This is one of the testament on how genius his offensive prowess is.
Why can't people be honest, I understand that Mayweather has two wins over him but that's no excuse to disregard the man. This notion that one could see Maidana's punches a mile away is laughable, Maidana isn't slow. You'd think we were talking about Angulo with the way people describe Maidana.

I think Maidana more power as far as each punch on a basis.
Basically he has more of the chance to drop or ko you with one punch.
Pacquiao also has power, I think he hits hard along with the angles punches come to drop you or ko you as well.

Well said. Good post.

You can see Maidana's punches coming he is slow man, Rios is much faster than him. Maidana is just a pressure fighter who throws awkward shots from up high over hands to hooks and just goes full out.
Floyd struggles with guys like that because he stays in the shell. and pot shots he doesn't like throwing combos, you have to really either move on guys like that or have enough power to keep them off you with combos, Floyd moved in the rematch and won easily.
Devon Alexander put a flawless boxing lesson on MAidana, Erik Morales ith one eye shot was able to slip and counter Maidana.
Maidana is a slow plodding hard hitting tough guy.
You truly are a fu kkin moron
Is that all you got? why do you have to be so childish? for what reason do you have to say that?
I spoke my educated piece and observation, like I said if anyone here has the balls to bet against me go for it, ill take your points. Floyd will beat pacquiao and im leaning toward KO.
I am never wrong, the only time my predictions were off is when the fighters failed to follow the gameplan.
How bout the question is who hits harder, Pac or Jr?
All of Pac, Floyd's common former opponents have said Pac hits harder of the two, so what's the point of the question?
Pac dropped Mosley, Mosley nearly shut Floyd's lights out.
Pac dropped Marquez 5 times total, Jr. could only drop him 1 time despite outweighing Marquez and having every possible edge against him.
It comes down to styles and I think Jr.'s chin isn't as great as people make it to be because he hasn't been hit enough hard enough.
Pac on the other hand has been hurt or KO'd by big punchers because he isn't shy to get hit.
I'd say Pac definitely has a stronger chin overall because of how often he's been hit by larger punchers and for the most part he stays together well.
Maidana thudding power that you can see a mile away, Pac has that snap in every punch that can catch you off guard and drop you.

I'd say Maidana but I don't understand the curiosity in wanting to know who people think hits harder. Pacquiao can sustain his punching power for far longer, doesn't stop committing because he's missing punches (Maidana does). Even then, it's not like Maidana is a considerably harder puncher.
