You know, see who is available. I'm dead serious, I don't like this Monroe fight, so let's see who is better that could have been made.
Ward: The first choice for many people, but we know Team Golovkin's position on the fight. Plus we don't know what Ward's action on the mandated Froch fight will be, or who he's looking to fight when he comes back.
Froch: He's shown close to no interest and is waiting on Ward or Chavez.
Dirrells: Booked.
Groves: Pretty sure he's booked.
DeGale: Booked.
Abraham: Just fought, don't think it's possible anyway. Maybe he is.
Cotto: LOL
Alvarez: Booked.
Lara: Maybe he's available, but I highly doubt that happens. We're talking HBO/Haymon in this case. I'd like to hear whether Team Golovkin tried again or not, because they did before when Lara called him out.
Quillin/Lee/Lemieux/N'Dam: Booked.
Name some more.
Hassan N'dam. He's supposed to fight for the vacant IBF title but can't find an opponent. The IBF should make an exception and allow Golovkin to fight N'dam for the vacant belt. This would spare us N'dam vs. Soliman/Mora.
Lee is a belt holder is he not? No one will ever be satisfied with who he fights, im not either but the only guy people think has a chance, ward, is approaching two years with no fight so it's not even worth mentioning.
Lee has a fight coming up. If he loses then there will not be a single beltholder in the middleweight division that will fight GGG.
He's already cleaned out everybody that is willing to fight him and proven that he is the best at 160. Every potential fight is a foregone conclusion.
Let me ask you. Does a GGG vs. Andy Lee unification intrigue you? Is that on your top 10 list of must see fights for 2015?
What other champ?
Quillin ain't fighting him
Cotto ain't fighting him
N'Dam already ducked him
And besides, he knocks every one of those guys the **** out. These are stay busy fights in preparation for future massacres.

Like who, though? Some random super middleweight isn't any step up from a random middleweight.
Arthur Abraham, Robert Stieglitz, Gilberto Ramirez or some guy on the sanctioning bodies contender list. At least if he's fighting a tuneup at 168 it puts him in the mix with bigger and better challenges later this year.
There aren't many good options at the moment. Most of the solid guys at 160 and 168 are booked already.
I think this fight with Monroe is premature and could've developed into a better fight down the line but it's not like there are millions of options and Golovkin has been adamant about not waiting around and staying active.
My idea was Bernard Hopkins but I don't know what the old man feels about that fight....
Hopkins did call him out after the Kovalev fight. No chance Team Golovkin makes that fight IMO. They might as well push for Ward or Froch if they would consider Hopkins. At least then there's some reward for the risk.
Good mention, though.
Why would he fight a tune up at 68 when he's a middleweight and could possibly fight another champ at mw. You really think george ****in groves is better than lee?

Would have liked to see Triple Duck fight a real threat. Move up to 175 coward if you can't get a good fight at 168 then. It's just that simple. Floyd moved up 5 weight classes why cant you *****?
I would have liked to see a tuneup at 168 to prepare for a showdown with Groves, DeGale or somebody later this year. Not another stay busy fight in preparation for Andy Lee if he beats Quillin.
