Majority of NSB Believe a Prime Wlad will KTFO a prime Muhammad Ali, but why do you think so...
The people who post on this message board represent 1/100th of 1 percent of boxing fans and is not a quality measurement of anything boxing related.
Also, the majority of the people on this message board are not familiar with the prime Muhammad Ali. They think the prime Ali is the guy who fought Frazier three times, George Foreman and Ken Norton. That Ali was past his prime. The prime Ali was the guy who beat Sonny Liston and who not only had power, but had faster hands than Mayweather, Pacquiaio and Mosley in their primes.
A prime Ali would have never lost to Ross Purity or Lamon Brewster. A prime Ali would have KO'd a prime Klitscho in round 13 or 14 because, in Ali's prime, boxing matches went 15 rounds and Klitschko could barely last 12 in his prime.
A lot of posters believe that but every thread I've seen turned into a flame war so obviously not a consensus.
I personally think fighters were of a generally lower quality back then in all divisions. It was still transitioning from a geographically confined novelty to a legitimate global sport.
However it's a dead topic in effect because nobody ever changes their mind. Someone brings up Chris Arreola, someone counters with Buster Mathis, it turns into 2 fat guys challenging each other to post their shirtless photos, etc. Repetitive.
