The whole underdog role in full effect with Molina and Guerrero. The lost love ones and Guerrero's wife cancer.
The melodrama is gonna continue with Peterson and his childhood. Vitor Ortiz next?
The fake tweet of Muhammad Ali was atrocious, just to get fans excited about nothing. We all know damn well Ali don't know how to tweet...
They better step up their game for the next show and have it feel like a real boxing event, rather a boxing tv show.
Saturday night versus a weekday night, especially in primetime, are two distinctly different audiences to measure against.
Some people can't seem to grasp that fact.
Actually the PBC debut under performed relative to the original 'Contender' series. It cost less than half as much and received more than double the ratings.
It cost $2mill per episode to produce vs the $5mill for PBC.
The debut had 8.1mill viewers, the finale had 7.9mill viewers, and the show averaged 6.2mill viewers - and that's w/o playing with the numbers using DVR's and ect. Also, those numbers were considered a failure and NBC canceled the series.

Wow, that Ali tweet is cringeworthy. PBC didn't need to do that
Dont get me wrong Ill be the first to hate on Haymon and ish but I doubt PBC had anything to do with that cause it didnt have the #thurmanguerrero hastag nor did it @ the official PBC twitter.
Just think it was a genuine tweet, we just think its hard to believe cause of the state Muhammad is in. He didnt do it himself but sure he wanted too.
and yes PBC is the contender on steriods, is a very accurate way of putting it. at least they show the entire fight and no just lil snippet cut and paste together like the contender did.
I think Ali really wanted to tweet that. The most outspoken boxer ever wanting to voice himself on one of the biggest social media sites? I think he can get the gist of it.
Besides, the twitter account says the tweets with #AliTweet's are straight from the champ. I'm sure he's not typing it but he can communicate with his family.
I hope that's the case!
