The battle of the Brits. I feel this fight just has to happen. It would be one of the biggest British domestic fights of all time.
How do you guys think it would go down?
I've always felt that Khan wins until I see Brook effectively fight someone with good movement and fast feet. He can be a bit flat footed and patient, so I think he gets out pointed handily.
People saying Brook will counter Khans flurries haven't watched Brook fight. When Brook is attacked he goes heavily defensive he doesn't counter unless he is certain that he will hit the opponent. As somebody said earlier Brook is not very active and he needs to use his jab to get started, I don't see him being effective vs Khan because Khan has superior control of range and the ability to get of first, by the time you know it khan is 5-0 up and you don't even get started. Brook doesn't knock people out with one punch, he punishes you and its the accumulation, I dont see the new defensively nous Khan taking an accumulation of punishment without holding, spoiling or just avoiding. The speed difference is pretty big here and it will show leaving Brook gun shy and confused. This Khan is composed, defensive and very disciplined, it is not the gung ho roach khan or the transitional khan who was half Roach half hunter during the Diaz fight, he is now comfortable with his new style, a style that in my opinion is very difficult to out box. Wide UD for Khan.
Brook by knockout, and I think he'll do it easily.
Brook's jab will control the fight, he will counter Khan's no defence flurries and hurt him early.
Brook is the better fighter, the stronger fighter, the bigger man...He's just all around better.
^^^ Everything he said. AK is overrated as fk. Fast hands dont mean isht when you dont follow through with your punches and your chin is made from bone china.
My opinion that Khan would ease to a relativly easy decision is only re-inforced by the amount of people thinking Brook would KO him.
Khan's chin is so overhyped that it has fighters totally hypnotised in the idea of a knockout. Then BAM it's Khan knocking them down and hurting them.
Kell needs to go into that fight to outbox and hold his own with Khan. Standing around hoping for a one hit counter is going to end badly.
Khan by decision. Brook is very economical and doesn't throw his power shots until he is comfortable and has established his jab.
Against Khan he will constantly get beaten to the punch and before you know it he's 5 rounds down after 5 rounds. I think he would need to go out of his comfort zone and throw looping shots frequently.
Also, Brook doesn't fight on the inside just like Khan so he wouldn't be able to exploit that weakness of Khan's.
Of course it wouldn't shock me if Khan got KTFO, but I could see it going this way very easily as well. I'd actually call a solid UD for Khan the most likely outcome here.
He's gotta stay disciplined and guard dat chin doe....

I could see instances where Khan is doing well but because he got shaken up it's hard to give him the round, I don't don't it's as easy as you think. On top of that, although Brook is economical he isn't afraid to hold.

I like Brook's counter left hook, I see that punch landing pretty frequently and Khan getting stopped as a result.
I think it would be a great fight. Something that could turn into a series of fights between these men.
I will go for Brook by close decision. Possibly by late stoppage
