Fighter #1 has 3 times more average PPV buys than Fighter # 2.
Therefore, Fighter # 1 should be getting 3 times more than Fighter # 2.
This translates to 3/4 vs. 1/4 or 75% vs. 25%.
Yet it is 60-40. There has been major injustice.
Combine the above realities, truths, and facts with the added info that Floyd is the PPV king. See the corruption?
So you're saying that Floyd should get 150 million,to compensate for the risk he is taking against Pacquiao. With that logic, everyone who gets in the ring with golovkin should be paid billions, because there is literally a 90% chance that he will knock them out.
You guys really aren't getting what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that Floyd is not getting compensated for what he is IN FACT losing in this fight.
Floyd has everything to lose and has zero to gain by fighting Pac. Here's what I mean:
Reality 1: Pacquiao is well past his prime. Everybody knows that he is only one-half of what he was in the past.
Reality 2: Floyd still has 90% of his capacities.
Therefore:
Fact 1: If Mayweather wins, he still loses because he will not be given credit for his win. Heck, even if he KOs Pac in the very first round, everyone (both Pac fans and Floyd fans) would just dismiss his so-called "victory" as EMPTY.
Fact 2: If Pac wins, Floyd even loses more because he just got beat by what everybody knew was a washed up fighter - what Ariza calls a "ghost of his former self".
In other words:
Because this fight has taken place years too late, all Pacquiao has to do to move up several rungs in the ATG P4P list is simply to survive. And all that Pac has to do to stay in the top 15 to 30 were the majority of experts and fans think he belongs is just show up and fight. If he wins, it would just be a bonus and boy oh boy will Ring Magazine be ready to put him in their top 10 all time great pound for pound rankings standing alongside the likes of Henry Armstrong, Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Louis and Muhammad Ali.
Ye if Floyd wins even very decisively he will still remain in the top 25 to top 30 all time pound for pound yet if he loses people would probably rank him down to the top 60 level.
Yet, and this is really what this post and thread is about, the 60% to 40% that Mayweather is getting does not reflect what little he has to gain. I think he deserves to get at least 75-25 in order to get compensated for the sacrifice in legacy that he has been kind enough to endow each and every boxing fan. There is total injustice in the pay structure of this fight that is indecent, unjust, and immoral.
I hope that I have finally made myself clear now. Thanks for your understanding.

Who gives a flying fuck? Seriously, what are you? Their financial manager?
I mean, I kind of understood the "money" argument before the fight got signed. But FFS, the fight is happening. That is the ONLY thing that matters.

It really is very unfair for the A-side. Not only does B-Side have a third of PPV buys, he (namely, B-Side) is also way past his prime, probably half as fast and strong has he used to be back when the fight should have been made. The diminishment of the skill, speed, power, and athleticism of B-side should be factored into the equation.
A-side deserves more just treatment due to the fact that at worst he is still 90% as good as he used to be.
Precisely!
Pac is not even half as good as he used to be 5 years ago yet he is getting much more than his fair share. Floyd is still 90% or better from what he used to be yet he is getting much less than his fair share.
This is truly unjust. The way past his prime fighter is getting grossly overpaid.
Your making out like pac is a bum.....
but yet i'm sure you would be swinging your pom poms screaming tbe if floyd wins.....which i don't think he will.

Geez....I guess this means that Floyd is gonna get whooped up on for a lot less than he should then? Oh well, too late now...wooowee, May 2nd, here we come!!!! :boxing:
Nothing wrong with 60-40 unless you're a stingy tightass. For the fight to generate the numbers it is supposed to do,it'll take two to make it happen and Mayweather knew this.

you won't believe there are people on this earth that want to reward cowardice, ducking, fake retiring to avoid tough competition, not to mention cruelty to women, arrogant behavior...
and what do these clowns get for their extreme fanaticism? nothing.
unbelievable... who are these people and who raised them?
