Ever since the fight was announced, some fans have started claiming that mayweather will literally manhandle Pacquiao all night, and probably stop him late. They claim that he's bigger and stronger, and the tiny Pacquiao will have nothing for him. When did Floyd become mike tyson? He's about 1 1/2 inches taller than PAC,and the most that he could possibly outweigh him by,is 5 lbs,and that's with Floyd coming in at 152,and PAC at 147.Floyd hasn't legitimately knocked someone out or down since hatton in 07,so what's all this about Floyd knocking Pacquiao down, and stoping him? I'd understand if we where talking about glass chin khan, but Pacquiaos been in there with fighters who hit much harder than Floyd and only Marquez was able to knock him down and out for the first time in their 4 fights. Please don't get this thread deleted, and I'd honestly want a real answer to where these ideas are coming from.
I remember the idiots on here saying Mayweather was going to "box" Mosley and wouldn't dare come forward. And those of us who said he's going to walk Shane down were the dummies. Mayweather has a good chance of stopping Pacquiao late although it's probably unlikely because he tends to take his foot off the gas and play it safe (as he did with Shane). But yeah, it's a possibility.
You don't need to be a knockout monster to KO Pacquiao.
I don't think Floyd is going to commit himself. So it will take the perfect hook or uppercut while Pac moves in. And that Pac's chin can't hold up anymore.
It's unlikely to happen, but stranger things have happened.
Good post. greenk coming.

Agreed 100% with your analysis here. That said, as I said to Deveel, Ko's aren't always one punch. Most likely Floyd will move and Manny will follow him. Manny could walk right into something from long range.
Almost all of Floyd's opponents stop punching after getting continuously countererd. I don't assume Manny will stop. That makes him a prime candidate for a late round KO.
Again, I am not predicting it, I'm just reminding posters that getting KO'd isn't just about your opponent's power.
where the hell was u at with this when the mayweathers and his fans was accusing manny of being on peds because he was knocking mofo's out??
now a ko can happen with good timing, etc. right??
Mayweather has a higher KO% at 147+
Mayweather - 3 KOs in 13 = 23.07%
Pacquiao - 2 KOs in 11 = 18.18%
Also factor in that Pacquiao has been KO'd 3 times and Mayweather 0 and it looks Mayweather by KO is a better pick.
who did floyd ko at 147+ ?
floyd- 26 kos
manny - 38 kos
Why did Mayweather almost double his punch output after moving up in weight like Pacquiao?
Well probably when Pac was at the lower weight he needed just one-two combination to drop his opponents like flies, while he needed thrice as much at the higher weight. Probably

Then we should have accused Floyd of PED in stead
I see what you're saying dunn, but I don't think that mayweather puts himself at risk like Marquez did to take get that shot. Marquez is an aggressive short range counter pucher who gives as good as he gets in order to counter you. Floyd is a more long range conservative counter puncher, who wouldn't take shots that put him in the line of fire. While I see that its possible that Floyd could land the same punch on pac,I don't think it would have the same effect. Floyd rarely sits down on his punches, due to the fact that he has problems with hurting his hands, and he likes to be on his toes to dodge punches. On the other hand Marquez hits like a mule, and sat down on that punch, putting his whole body into it.

Regardless. Floyd doesn't commit to his punches in KO fashion. He's more of an accurate scoring puncher. If Floyd wins it will be via decision. He doesn't take chances and certainly wont take chances this time around with a fighter like Pac in front of him.
Floyd hasn't done that a lot as he has moved up-I agree. But when he definitely did when he was younger. Again, as for chances you have to take into consideration the dynamic. Manny may follow him around the ring and walk right into a punch.
A KO doesn't have to be one punch, it can come from an accumulation of shots, especially if they are well timed counters that the opponent doesn't see. That's how he got Hatton out of there.
You sound silly AF
Ko ratio against who?
May weather is better than all PAC has fought...is pac clearly better than jmm...nope not 1 clear win in a 4 fight series
Its barely higher than mayweathers
Power means lil if you dont land regularly.... PAC gonna get outclassed touch gloves 1 million times n cash a check
A great more skilled big man beats the smaller less skilled guy
May 2nd....face it
in that case how come floyd doesnt have a high ko % then? LMFAO!!!

look at both pac and floyd's ko % smart guy. pac has a higher ko % than floyd.
its not about-because JMM did it-its about the potential opportunities that may arise in the fight. Floyd has a much longer reach and is a little bigger. JMM has a shorter reach and was a little smaller-these are the reasons why Floyd may not have to take the punishment JMM did to land that shot.

the guy that has been ko has a higher ko % than the guy that has never been ko. so think about it.

Not anymore stupid than people predicting Pacquiao to knock out Mayweather.
pac has a higher ko % than floyd though. so based on that, if i have to bank on one i'll prolly go with the higher ko % guy.

hell yeah because floyd is 7ft tall right? see pac vs oscar, marg, algieri. all with the same reach as floyd.
Insults won't save PAC from another L
Y'all can't even figure how PAC will win, let alone Roach is lost...can't wait til may
Another one bites the dust
10th round KO.
Floyd quits like the biatch that he is in his stool.
Manny doesn't like woman beaters.
