TYSON FURY has been told victory on Saturday will lead to a summer showdown with Wladimir Klitschko.
The 6ft 9in Manchester heavyweight risks his status as mandatory challenger for the WBO world title when he faces German Christian Hammer at London's O2 Arena.
Unbeaten Fury, 26, is keeping busy while Ukraine's WBO-IBO-WBA-IBF world heavyweight champion Klitschko, 38, defends his belts against Yank Bryant Jennings in New York on April 25.

Pulev would beat Fury rather easily, that's one difference.
Pulev fights at long range behind his jab. Fury has a longer range and better footwork. He would beat Pulev on points, without any doubt.
Pulev vs Chisora would be a very interesting fight.
What's the difference between his last opponents and Wladimir's last opponents other than Povetkin?
Chisora was more proven than Pulev.
Pulev would beat Fury rather easily, that's one difference.
The difference is Klitschko has noting to prove. He is the WBA,IBF,WBO & Ring Heavyweight champion of the world.
It's not his fault he has been so dominant. He beat Povetkin, he beat Haye. Who else could he have fought?
Klitschko looked at these two rising Americans. Jennings and Wilder as an opportunity to return to New York for a couple of fights, Make some money and unify the belts. That's what the wants to do. If he has to give some step aside money to Fury, so be it
Fury has nothing that Wladimir wants.
Wilder has something that Wladimir wants. That WBC Championship belt.
He also wants to earn some money and kudos with the fans while winning that belt. Unifying the HW division would be the crowning achievement of Wlad's career. He wants to do it in a big fight against a credible opponent, and Haymon needs a return on the money he's invested in Wilder.
Outside of hard core boxing fans, Wilder is still unknown. The pathetic turn-out for his hometown victory parade after winning his paper title proves that.
Haymon will be looking to raise Wilder's profile with defences and KO wins over "Bum Squad" type opponents before putting him in with Wlad. This could give Fury a window of opportunity to tempt Vlad into defending against him before going after Wilder.
Fury vs Wlad would be a huge fight in Germany or the UK. Warren seems optimistic about making it happen this year. I hope he is right about that.

:lol1:
Completely off topic.
But you're saying Wlad, because he's the champ, shouldn't fight better opposition than a challenger?
I don't know which world you live in, but it's not this one.
And also, there's plenty of fighters Wlad should have fought other than the likes of Pianeta, Mormeck, Wach, Thompson, Leapai etc.

Good. We won't have to hear about this clown anymore after the summer when he becomes just another number on the list of bums Wladimir has Knocked Out
But I suspect this fight won't happen as Wladimir is coming for Wilder's WBC to unify the division and that fight will be worth a hell of a lot more than Knocking out this bum back in Germany.
Wlad won't fight Fury as long as he's got a hole in his arse. He doesn't want anything to do with the furious one. Good job because deep down, Wlad knows that Fury is the only fighter in the world with the tools to beat him.
I'm not surprised he's going for Wilder, he's by far the more limited fighter.
Nice sig btw, nobody will ever green k you though, because you're a massive bellend.
Nobody. Nothing but Cab Drivers

Fury is a complete idiot.Does he really believe his own nonsense? He never beat anybody, was on the floor against cruiser Cunningham and now thinks Wlad is running away...good luck to him - hope the fight can be made...
