Lara outboxes the f*ck out of golovkin
Cotto ices this mother*cker. Straight up lol.
Canelo takes his soul.
Quillin might decision him if he has a good chin.
Mayweather would probably break both hands teeing off on this guy.
Jermell charlo outboxes him easy.
Lemieux golovkin 50-50.
Oh ffs please dont ever move up and fight ward unless u wanna end ur career ggg lol.
Shi*t hopkins wins too im goin all out lol.
Reason???
HE IS SO FUC*KING SLOW OH MY GOD. Anyone with great skills and a chin ESPECIALLLY speed beats him.
Jacobs, Canelo, and Derevychenko all taxed that ass.
What are you saying?
Even a welterweight, Kell Brook moved up and put that work on him until his face couldn't hold up due to being undersized heavily.
Lol...SD gave him a good fight, I will give ya that...the other 3 fights there with Jacobs and Canelo...nah there was only 1 winner there in those 3 fights and GGG hardly took any shots.
Still thought he beat SD but it was a great fight and very competitive...Brook had like 2 or 3 good moments in 4+ rounds and got his face broke and basically his career ended in the process.
You were saying? lol...I mean I really don't care man...just thought this thread was funny...especially that you were so low on GGG for so long, and so wrong really...and well not much has changed..you still choose to hate on him and see what you want to see.
Don't feel bad though...I remember that most GGG haters were saying Lemieux would beat him/hurt him/stop him once that fight was going to happen...but after GGG dominated him, well those guys forgot about that one, and just said Lemieux sucked lol.
So do you my man...double, triple, quadruple down if that's what ya want to do...I will try to keep it as real as I see it, and if you are doing the same then good on ya.
i said this already and people got mad, i said ggg is slow as a snail and his face is open, also his power isn't really that great he isn't really as hard a puncher as people say, but i disagree with you lara ain't going to do ****, that guy sucks, he just runs and throws a punch while ducking low. If angulo almost took lara out and angulo is even slower than ggg, ggg will finish the job on this overated lara.
quillin and lemiuex will knockout golovkin
roflmaoooooo
Says a lot that these guys can't definitively beat a 35+ year old Golovkin who has clearly been on the slide since 2016. Golovkin from 2013 and earlier would have been too much for any of these guys. I think his peak was probably around the Macklin fight.
Lol this thread was hilarious...do y'all take these Ls or just try and forget about them and move onJacobs, Canelo, and Derevychenko all taxed that ass.

But they're all so brain washed they think im trolling lmao. Ggg's power is as real as it gets i see that. But he hasn't fought anyone with elite skills that can expose how slow he is. Chavez had an iron chin, much better defense and p4p better speed AND better timing but hbo is saying this guy is basically chavez? Wtf? Cotto would legit probablh stop golovkin and should fight him in june tbh.
I think it has its merit when you dk not see what others have especially when nehas not faced anyone world class. How can you get excited about a fighter that has no defence, or jab. No movement lateral or otherwise.
And lamps comparing him to Chavez??!! Really...
I mean i've been noticing so many things in golovkin that have made me think 'i'm really not sold at all and i think he loses to elite level talent.' I'm talking guys with some skill, power, and speed. They don't even have to be special like mayweather. But i've kept it all in because GGG has been knocking all thesd guys out quick and looking impressive, so i'd pretty much get roasted like whats happening now.
Now golovkin fights someone strong and tough, limited and good willed with ok skills but pretty slow who's getting things done like paulie would say "in spots" and he had golovkin froze and wincing with some body shots. Immediately i thought 'miguel cotto' who is much faster and has much better punching power. Murray just isn't that talented but hes a good decent fighter overall i give him that.
There's no denying ggg's power is real and he can box, has some skills but he certainly has flaws and is far from perfect. I believe the right fighters can expose those flaws potentially and i gave a list but i came off a little ruthless and hostile so i'll own up to that i apolagize. But alot of you are bandwagoning really hard and not seeing things all the way through so i just had to put it out there. I'm seeing way too much fanboying and im not the only one who feels like this about ggg.
Edit: now im starting to see more threads about this so maybe i got some people out of their shells who agree with me golovkin is not all that, atleast noy until he proves himself with some real elite fighters.
Lol this thread was hilarious...do y'all take these Ls or just try and forget about them and move on

I wasn't too far off though. Canelo actually took his soul and Ward would've embarassed and ended his career.
Lol...Nelo fought well enough in both fights...still got outlanded heavily in both...I thought he won 8 rounds out of 24...and the rest of your post is a could woulda shoulda besides Lemieux, which was just way wrong.
So a real man would probably say here 'I was wrong, GGG was great'...but you can do whatever it is you do here my friend...I guess that means doubling down...even though only 2 fights you mentioned happened...and GGG dominated one where you said it was 50/50...and probably won both the other fights vs the guy you said would 'take his soul' lol.
Clown boy :)...how tall are you btw
He's easily the best in his division, and if he moved up I would only pick Ward over him at this point (if he fights again), however it's the people putting him up there with the Middleweight greats that is frustrating.
Murray is a top ten guy at the moment but the division is pretty horrible. Ggg beat him up and ko'd him so he did his job, but I'm still waiting for him to really be challenged by a top quality fighter. I think this won't happen at middleweight, even if the division stops ducking him
his last 3 fights have been at 155. 155 isn't a division. what is he doing? stalling? he could of had 3 fights at 160 to get used to the weight. so he doesn't want to fight at 154 because floyd is the champ but he doesn't seem to want to fight at 160 either so did he just invent a new place to fight that's safe for him? if hes having trouble making 154 he's obviously having trouble making 155 but he would rather kill himself making 155 then fight at 160. lack of confidence is a terrible thing. i don't blame him after all. he fought 3 good fighters and didn't clearly beat any of them.
Ofcourse hes stalling because hes not a fully fledged middleweight, thats why after kirkland he should move up, but he wants cotto first because of the money. Styles make fights and like alot of the bigger names they wait for the right time to move as this is where the business gets involved. I believe when he decides to move up to 160 properly hell have alot better chance of beating GGG.
well ward has no power so that doesn't matter. what matters against ward is the ref and is he going to be able to wlad it up and hold nonstop? golovkin should put it in the contract that a ref who enforces clinching be selected and then this ref can carefully explain to ward how if he holds he will be penalized. surely ward would agree to that right? its just the rules after all.
Ward is not a KO ing but he has enough power imo.
He made Froch gunshy and beat him easil. Froch's style is not the same as Golovkin's but similar in some terms namely that they both build on contiguous pressure and they both like totrap their opponents against the ropes. Also it seems like they both have decent chins.
So Froch's chin is ain't no glss but still he couldn't walk through Ward's punches. I think neither Golovkin can do that.
It's a concern going up. Can he take super middleweight power as easily as he does middleweight power? If so, Ward's the only one who can beat him.
Then again, maybe Golovkin has yet to show his full arsenal. It's hard to tell when he's willing to clown around against the best in his division. You wonder if he has another gear in him or not.

Golovkin is obviously not hype because he's smashing guys that top fighters were competitive with an arguably lost to.
But I will say he's overrated by some.
His defense at times last night was just ridiculously bad. Maybe it's because he had no respect for Murray's power but at times he was literally walking in a straight line with his head completely stationary. He doesn't move his head much in general though really.
He has no defence. He's very much a front runner. He literally does nothing when he's being backed up except eat punches. He doesn't counter-punch or defend himself.
He has one very good dimension and that's coming forward
Yeah good points.
But I still think it's a major flaw in his game.

Theres no way he should have fought ggg straight away, hes the top of the division. He needs to prove himself first at 160 by fighting legit contenders (like i already said) after kirkland then fight him when he adjust to the weight.

canelo could have fought ggg but he's still at 155 fighting an unranked guy that was semi-retired and fat as a house.

Definitely showed some vulnerability last night but gonna take an elite level boxer to beat him. At middleweight he is king though but canelo if he moves up and gets some solid wins against legit contenders i think will have a good chance of beating him, only thing that will let canelo down is his lack of footspeed.
