It's pretty obvious how average this guy is when you can hold the center of the ring, Murray out boxing him. The only success he's had was when Murray was trapped, the size of this ring lmao.
People thinks this guy beats Ward? Lmfao.
the ring actually was getting smaller just like that room with spikes in it from indiana jones. the fight will be declared a no contest and golovkin fined for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Most pro rings have a platform thats 22 or 24 square!
However you control the inside dimentions by the length of the turn buckles.
I didn't notice the buckle length but my guess would be 18.5 to 19' sq.
Nothing unusually for Middleweights, most are 5'9" to 5'11" plenty of room to box or fight.
I'd like to see GGG in a 17.5 with Canelo, that would be fun to see.
Ray
so what were the dimensions of the ring? nobody ever mentioned it...........
16x16 if I had to guess. But it looked damn near 10x10. I do still think GGG would have won though. But I thought championship fights were supposed to be 20x20
GGG fans doing damage control gonna act like he utterly dominated murray lmao
No! It was Murrey dominating GGG entire fight! Being dropped 3 times and TKO'd in 11th. Yes! Murrey was outboxing GGG easily while taking a beating of his life.
If you have a smart management team you add in ring size to a contract, if not
you fight in the ring thats set up!
Using the ring size as an "excuse" is absurd, Murray did ok when he got off first but when he got hit he got hurt. He wanted no part of exchanges.
try looking at the expressions GGG opponent give when they get hit, that will explain alot to the viewers. Youir just not used to seeing guys get hurt with just a few shots. You carry those early body shots with you all night long. Fans don't understand that, you don't know what you've never experienced.
If Sanchez ordered that ring and Murrays people agreed or missed that part of fight night good for GGG team and bad for Murray's! It's being thorough and ready.
Ray.
I was thinking the ring was really small too. I thought for championship fights your supposed to have a 20 ring. I guess not. Can anyone elaborate on this?
bailed out? ggg would beat murray regardless.
it was a small ring but when you are the b-side you have to deal with **** like that. like i said he would have lost regardless.
ward does beat ggg though, i dont know how anyone who understands boxing cant see it tbh. there is a reason ggg doesnt want that fight.
He took Murray heart in the second round with a right hand body shot! After that Murray was in survival mode! You can't see that because you've never had your ribs cracked they way did.
Murray is a good fighter who beat Sergio and Froch but was dismantled by GGG.
To bad some here can't appreciate a man who comes into the fight looking for the KO and tries hard to get it!
He just destroyed the second best middleweight in the world.
He would tko both Cotto amnd Mayweather, this guy can punch!!!!
Ray.
His dominant performance against Ward was more impressive IMO.

Well one thing is for sure: If GGG didn't throw any punches in the fight then Martin Murray would have won.
agreed, that's why I didn't bet on the fight. fuck that risk. I got billz 2 pay.
Such a small ring is an absurd advantage for someone as extremely offensively talented as GGG. Not bashing him since he's not responsible, and would have worn down Murray either way, but the guy doesn't need any more advantages
lmao
what other fucking boxer is held to these standards, TELL ME
"HE'S TOO GOOD OFFENSIVELY, MAKE THE RING BIGGER. THIS ISN'T FAIR."
here's a suggestion, tell his opponent to be better at boxing
