In the opening fight of the evening, Hugh Fury registered a clear unanimous points victory over 31-year-old Ukrainian Andriy Rudenko.
The 20-year-old cousin of Tyson Fury used his jab to good effect throughout. Displaying impressive head movement, Hughie enjoyed success with short hooks as the one-paced Rudenko trundled into range looking to unload wild swings.
After 10 rounds of action, the young British heavyweight had his arm raised, securing the win by scores of 98-92, 98-91 and 97-92 to move to 15-0 (8).
Does Hughie now rank above Anthony Joshua? In my opinion he should.
Great that he's getting rounds. Its not all about blasting your opponent out of there as quickly as possible; at some point, you will need to go the distance.
I thought it was a very good performance against a potentially tricky foe. Hopefully he'll move on up, again, in his next fight. It's worth remembering he's only 20, too, so there's plenty of time for him to develop.
You refused to answer for some reason.
You DO seem to have a sexual attraction to James Toney.
Which is okay - different strokes for different folks. Whatever turns you on. :)
Why the hell would he even entertain that f*ckin weird question?
No.
I got red K'd by both LarryXXX and his alt Verstyle (a former member who had high karma who gave his account to Larry when he "retired" from boxingscene). Larry uses his alt Verstyle to red K people and support himself in arguments.

Isn't it against the rules to use alt accounts?

02-21-2015 04:41 PM LarryXXX ...grow up man, you have serious fvcking issues and need help...

Didn't know Vers gave his account to Larry, smh.
I'd say Joshua's ammy career keeps him and Hughie level, but there's no doubt that Rudenko is better than anyone on Joshua's pro resumé.
Hughie was World Amateur Champion, so AJ's ammy pedigree doesn't necessarily level the two at this stage, IMO. Their ammy pedigree is comparable but, compared to Hughie, AJ has beaten exactly NO ONE to date. It's time that AJ and his handlers - and others of like mind - realize that running your newbie through 1st-round KOs against nobodies does the fighter an extreme disservice. I don't dislike AJ but, to date, he's all hype, and he's in danger of being exposed, because he's fought so few rounds as a professional. Peter Fury has it right: at this stage, it's about getting rounds, not easy KOs.
Freedom red'k me for saying sh1thouse and wrote "Rudenko doesn't demank his opponents wear gloves with extra padding like "Chicken" Floyd".......the fvck is wrong with this guy??? i wasn't even serious

I think Joshua would probably beat H Fury right now. But I've said from a long time ago that I feel Hughie is the more naturally gifted fighter. I have a feeling he'll end up going further than many believe. He'll be hard to beat for anyone. Even at this stage, so just imagine how it'll be in 3-4 years when he'll enter his best years.
Hughie is 20 years old.
He's just taken one on who's 24-1.
What was the record of Anthony Joshua's last opponent? Or Joseph Parker?
Whichever way you want to put it, it's impressive.

Says more about Lucas Browne and his glaring limitations that Rudenko was able to give him so much trouble. Good matchmaking from Fat Mick, though. He knows how to bring prospects through and develop them right the way up.

If it ever comes to it the Fury's won't puss out of fighting each other like the Ks... I'd back Hughie in a few years time, the kid can fight.
And that would make them stupid

Lol. They'd never fight. Ever. They've made that clear many times. They have the same blood running through they're veins man. Some things are more important than money and glory.
