who is one of the best in the world in the weight class above.
This guy is an All-Time Great in the making. He beats Ward shockingly easily in my view.
GGG's camp started the ducking concept when they said he'd fight ANYBODY from 154 to 168.
Soon as Ward answered the call...
They stopped saying it.
GGG is that dog that stops barking soon as the gate opens.
"Andre would need a couple of tune ups first."
Then the gate closes again.
The time is not right for either of them re this fight.
What? I am a bigger GGG fan than anyone and I am a born and bread Black/Dominican. The **** you talking about? He has fans because he is DAMN GOOD.
Though there are definitely some people who wouldn't be a fan of GGG if his name was Ahmed Jones and he was from Brooklyn.
That dude's a race troll. Don't bother.
Ward is by far the best in his weight class
Rigo is by far the best in his weight class
Chocolatito is by far the best in his weight class
GGG is getting all kinds of different treatment than those 3 fighters
That's because most people don't care about the flyweight division. Rigo and Ward are considered boring by many. Then we have GGG; the guy has knocked out his last 18 opponents and he's actually fun to watch, go figure.
GGG brings Whites...Ricans...Mexicans...and Pinoys together under one big umbrella............... of Butthurt.
They like him because their own group can't represent....so they import stars from overseas.
Unlike American fighters....He doesn't have to "challenge himself" or
"take risks"

Guys like you make it hard for guys like me who are rational GGG fans. Yes GGG is the best fighter in his weightclass without a doubt on earth. But to say he beats Ward "easily" is a farce. These are two of the very best fighters on the planet, it's a pickem fight and one that makes my mouth water.
I also want to see the fight because I really do believe that Golovkin has the best chance, not Kovalev, not Stevenson but Golovkin despite being smaller than those other two.
Like it or not boxing promoters only concern is the bottom dollar. Money is a religion to them. Again, no boxing promoter is going through the time and expense to secure a site, set up negotiations with the fighters, set up tv rights, etc for a fight team GGG has made clear they don't want. It's that simple. If team GGG said they wanted this fight a promoter would put together a HBO double header highlighting both fighters vs good competition. After both won, it's time for 24/7, PPV and all that goes with it. Problem is team GGG said maybe down the road
No, Abel Sanchez has been saying for months, Ward if you want the fight, stop posturing and make an offer, at least talk to Loeffler. Nothing. Why? Maybe Ward is not reluctant to fight GGG, but no interest in boxing anymore?

Both fighters have said they would fight right now-and don't refer to that video of GGG saying "too much" either. Dontae interviewed him recently and Golovkin said he is ready. It's obviously all up to the promoters so it doesn't matter what both fighters have said. Dre needs a couple tune-ups, per Hunter, and Golovkin would hopefully get a PPV name before Ward so that fight could really begin to make sense. You can't take one guys side when he's said something then discredit the other guy for saying the exact same thing. It's just that, talk; for better or for worse. You either take stock in what both of them have said, or you discredit them both.
Come on, Chavez backed out because of Arum's contract, not fear of Golovkin. I don't think much of JCC Jr, I think he lost some fights, including to a journeyman Brian Vera, and the Sebastian Zbik fight was not a clear win. I don't know how Chavez Jr not fighting GGG changes anything, he's not that good. What does beating Chavez Jr prove? That's about as good or worse than beating Geale.
Froch wants nothing to do with GGG? just because of a tongue in cheek comment which he admitted himself was just messing around about it.
Fighters move up to establish themselves in a higher weight as well, and make a name for themselves, make noise. He doesn't have to go up for a big fight right off the bat. Everyone at 168 would fight him if he actually moves up. Why make an offer to some one who's not a draw and has no title in their weight class?
Agree Chavez is no great shakes but he's the only guy whose promoter made an offer to GGG, which he promptly signed. I don't care about his Arum excuses, he's not seeing that type of money soon, not even close.
Here's Frochs clarification. I think its fair to say he has no interest:
"It was tongue in cheek back then. I was being a bit cheeky and you can take those comments with a pinch of salt. What I will say though is this guy can f*cking punch: he's dangerous and if he can be avoided we'll avoid him. "
And when you have nothing, always go to the hypothetical agenda. We see where your head is at.

why would any promoter go through the time and expense to put together a offer for a fight team GGG has made clear they don't want?
You make an offer, they pass, you move on to another guy. Happens all the time, stop your excuses. But Ward can't even get himself paid for the tuneups he wants before facing top comp.
why would any promoter go through the time and expense to put together a offer for a fight team GGG has made clear they don't want?
Quite honestly one of the stupidest arguments you can make.
I still can't believe that people actually believe that GGG is ducking Ward, who hasn't had fight in two years and is the weight class above. As soon as they heard maybe ward one day, the ward camp got all excited..but the fact of the matter is that Ward is talkin but no offer being made. he also has said i dont like to call out fighters. ggg hasnt called out ward. like i said before ward needs ggg more so he should come down to 160....oh wait i am not stupid like dawson :blackeye:
i believe ggg beats ward as well. as of right now ward needs ggg more than ggg needs ward. lets be realistic ward can't even fill up his own hometown arena. ward is talking but they arent making an offer to GGG.as far as fighting a chavez jr at 168 and not ward, c'mon its all about more exposure and money.
If he fought Lara, hes A side no queston. Vs Canelo, Cotto, Froch, Chavez B side of course. Ward, hard to tell, cause he feels hes a side but seems unable to make an offer like a siders above, if they felt confident in their chances
why would any promoter go through the time and expense to put together a offer for a fight team GGG has made clear they don't want?
