Public memory has a funny way of developing. Whitaker and Pryor seem to be remembered as a better fighter post retirement than pre-retirement. On the other hand, Roy Jones and Oscar seems to be ranked lower post-retirement.
Which active fighter today will be ranked higher or lower after retirement?
That is utter crap, Ali has the far superior resume, wtf are u on?
Pac has a far superior resume than Floyd and neither guy will be fighting the other in his prime. It's a financial showcase fight now, wish fulfilment. It doesn't mean much any more.
Pac's resume isn't far superior. That's a,load of crap. And both of these guys are p4p 1 and 2. A win over either counts on both guys resume as their best win. Stop the stupid spin. This is a fight that determines a lot. For both of them.
No he wont be. George Foreman had a more impressive run than Ali but Ali is regarded as greater because he BEAT Foreman.

Pac is going to be remembered in a better light because you can rewatch most of his fights and be entertained. Kinda hard to call Floyd an entertaining fighter.
Whats the most entertaining thing Floyd does in the ring? His pull back right counter that he stings people with?
If Floyd doesn't fight Manny, he won't get much work commentating, Mayweather promotions won't be worth sh*t, and a simple video of common opponents will make Floyd look even worse, even with the Marquez KO (huge dif between flash KO and an ass whoopin).
I don't see how Wlad doesn't win this based on just how American's don't even care enough about him to even crap on him. Mayweather and Pacquiao are already considered greats and while it's nothing to snicker at, neither have that great of a resume past 09, at least great enough to warrant ATG status.
Huh? Seriously?

Even if Floyd beats Pac I will think Pac was a greater fighter.

U can think all u want to but it won't be the case. Either man's scalp on your resume means u have one of the to fighters of a whole generation. That's huge
