People hate Floyd more than they do Margarito. WHy?

Why is it the average "internet boxing fan" hates guys like Mayweather, AB and Ward more than they do guys like Antonio Margarito? Margarito literally CHEATED in the ring and basically tried to kill his opponents by padding his gloves with an illegal substance. Yet the hate is always in full force for the BROTHERS? Why is that? Who loved Hopkins? When is the last time Hopkins even had a fight in his hometown? And if he did would it look like Cotto fighting in NYC? Or Hatton fighting in Manchester? Lewis also was not loved very much in America. He was considered soft, too cautious and boring. Holyfield had more appeal because he was "SAFE". Good ol Christian Black Man that comes to the ring sangin about the Lord. He was the definition of safe. People supposedly don't like ARROGANCE, yet Froch, Calzaghe, Erik Morales, etc... have large fanbases. Even in the UFC, Connor McGregor is the Adrien Broner of the octagon. Yet he has a massive Irish following. He's a box office hit. Yet when was the last time Hopkins had a fight in Philly and showered with love and admiration? Shane Mosley was a model citizen and the ideal Brother that made everybody COMFORTABLE. Where was his rabid fanbase? After he beat DLH, he was supposed to be a superstar? What happened? I speak the truth. Personally speaking, im Anglo-indian. (just incase you think its relevant) A brown dude. I cant stand floyd for the many stupid ignorant things he has done and said over the years. Domestic abuse, his many tantrums, his massive ego, his refusal to answer questions about a Pac fight, him burning money in a club to show off....etc etc. There are many many reasons why i dont like him. Margrito did something stupid and dangerous. One thing. He was punished, and has now retired. With him its not a repetition of irritating, offensive behaviour spanning over a decade. And as far as you making it into a racist thing. South American fans and british/Irish fans do go crazy over their fighters. Black fighters are also very popular, but if the majority of fans in America are white, then the white fighters will get more attention. Plus them being the minority as far as champions go, will get them media attention. There is a lot of racism. But not from boxing fans. Every boxing fan i know loves a handful of boxing legends like Hagler, Louis, Tyson, Jones, Ali, Whitaker, Robinson, etc. Im not a fan of arrogance. Couldnt stand Prince Naseem. But as a fighter i give him props because he was so entertaining. Floyd is not entertaining. Great boxer, but his horrible attitude overshadows his reputation as a fighter for me. Carl Froch can be arrogant, but he is also intelligent, and scores some great ko's, takes on everyone. So im a fan.

They are just Haters. Like it or not, allot of that hate is race based. It's not racism on the surface. It's not like the haters would go around called Floyd the N word. When I first started posting here, other anti-Floyd fans thought I was black, I rocked a Chad Dawson avatar. I would get some dirty, racists red k that consist of the word n****r and other racist profanity against blacks. Mind you, I was a calm poster, with reserved opinions. I can see right through these phony posters claiming it's not race. If you look at Youtube comments, where it's a lot more anon than this site, you could see the dirty little racists all over the comments section of boxing fights/clips. It would not surprise me if they post here as more reserved anti-Floyd fans, struggling to hide their true feelings about black fighters. A lot of fans hated the sh*t out of Paul Williams after his big win vs Margarito up to when his accident happen. How the heck can you hate a fighter/person like Paul Williams, if it's supposedly because you don't like arrogance -_- I call bullsh*t on all of you. And Hopkins is loved? Wtf? Holyfield was loved?
