His fights were alot more entertaining when he was trained by his uncle.....The way he barely moved and picked guys apart
Just think how diffrent fights with Cotto/Ortiz/Mosley would have went if his dad was the trainer
Outside of the first Maidana fight all his fights been boring.....

U buggin, he walked the shiat out of Canelo and his father was the one who kept telling him to "close up and walk to him" I think the Canelo fight was the best I had seen Floyd.
Problem was that back then people were saying how shot his legs were, so i guess mayweather thought il get my dad in to get me back to boxing on his feet.
Plus roger has slowed since back then, you can see it when they do padwork together, he still uses roger for his padwork but since the canelo win roger is looking slow.
I honestly think Floyd was on autopilot with Roger, he was fighting by himself.
"Keep doin' what you're doin" was getting him hit when he started to slow down so he brought his only real coach back in, which given their fractious relationship he probably never wanted to do.
I favor Roger a little bit more, because of Floyds style when he fights with Roger...and in between rounds I miss hearing Roger throw out his version of the word "Muafucccahh" as much as possible.
He probably could have Devon Alexandered the version that Devon fought lol this maidana is much better
True...it was crazy seeing MAdiana use his jab and make Floyd miss....WTF LOL
I think Floyd thought He could Devon Alexander Madiana

I mean I think Floyd would have still won those later fights without so much footwork.....And It seemed like he tryed to revert back into his offensive style in the first Madiana Fight

I definitely do...he was defensively responsible while still bringing it to opponents... The cotto fight, Mosley, hatton and showed he was elusive but could walk you down and pick you apart but hey longevity is the name of the game...props to SR for reminding him...I never expected him to befuddle canelo n a tough SOB like Guerrero that easy...I was like daaaaaaamn...I thought he'd win but not 10 rounds or more

You can't argue with the results though, that's all that really matters. Also Floyd is getting older now. In a few days he will be 38 years old, he is probably being more careful in the ring now than ever before.
pretty much but nothing we can do about that roger is ill has his good days and his bad and that inconsistency is a no no so pops took over which is good for floyd in the long run he seems prone to brain damage.
