Ok I'm no boxing insider and I'm not claiming to be. However I do get up super early and was listening to Ricky Smiley on 97.3 here in Myrtle Beach, SC and he said "that the reason there is not an agreement between the two cable networks is because they have hit a road block in terms as to who should have the rights to re-air the fight." He alluded to one side believing that the winning fighters network should receive all the rights, and the other side wanting them to split it 50/50.
I'd like to have been able to repeat it per capita but unfortunately my attention was divided between the radio and driving.
If anyone has heard about this please share. Could it mean we are just a few days away from what we've all been wanting to hear?
Gonna go out on a limb and say ratings.
thats what im saying it brings in viewer but does it make that much of a difference since the fight can also be seen on various websites, etc. its not like if u miss the fight then u cant see it anymore until hbo or sho re-airs it.
why do networks care so much who gets to re-air the fight???? i know it brings in viewer but the fight will be posted all over youtube and other boxing websites. why do the network act like hbo and showtime is the only palce u can re-watch a fight?

ESPN.COM has a similar article that talks about how Showtime and HBO are having problems with the NETWORK agreements.
For example who gets the replay and etc.
