It was horrible. Actually, the rubber match idea was terrible given their recent performances and Alvarado's issues. it was the perfect idea. the 3rd fight was designed too rejuvenate the career of the winner in a fight of the year candidate. it didn't live up too the fight of the year hype, because Alvarado didn't prepare. but it served its purpose of reviving the winner. now rios is gonna get a better fight with possibly marquez or bradley

Rios came well prepared and as a result had an easy fight against an unmotivated foe - Rios deserves credit for that. Also, I detected something off from Mike during the prefight interview with Lampley - to me it looked like was high on kind of drug

that was a horrible fight. rios is still the same. its his opposition that's different. it sux to watch a boxer who doesnt even wanna be there get beat up like that. although it wouldve been a stupid fight even if alvarado did fight back, its a match waiting for brain damage to happen.......
