I just finished watching Manny....quite inspirational and it really shows how much this guy is loved and illustrates why so many boxing fans cannot stand Floyd...worked his way from the jungle to the top...classy all the way....left home alone at 13 to box and send money back to his family...great documentary....reinforces how much joy I would get from seeing him smack Mayweather..
I watched it not because of Manny but because I want to see what Alex Ariza put on that shakes!!!
I enjoyed the spitting part though... :poke: :boxing:
I liked the Tapia doc better because of the story he had and probably because we already know the ending unfortunately.
Manny was good though. It was crazy seeing him so young but you could see the speed and power even at those super low weights...he may not have ever been technically the best "boxer" of this generation but I think he gave everyone the most action packed high level scraps...
He's an ATG for sure, just hope he gets the chance to try to win the biggest fight of them all with Floyd...
Just finished watching with my wife, she says it was 24/7ish but liked it. It was a decent documentary but there is actually another on YouTube that shows many rounds of his earlier fights that was just as good to me.
Ya'll ruin every thread that is suppose to be made to praise Manny by trying to drag Floyd down......
Their names will forever be linked. It's like Ali and Frazier... if Ali had ducked Frazier instead of fighting him 3X.
