Khan, who was speaking to The Times, spoke of his feelings about his homeland - and was openly critical of UKIP leader Nigel Farage, who blamed the Paris attacks on a "gross policy of multiculturalism".
"What Nigel Farage said makes me angry,” Khan said in the interview.
"I was born here, went to school here, my mates are here. I’ve won a world title with the Union Jack proudly displayed on my shorts. I’ve won an Olympic medal with my heart full of pride.
"I am more British even than Farage and a lot of white people. I try and show it through action.”
Of course it is, duh. It's a layman's honest opinion explained through a language barrier.
If you want an in-depth analysis of the problem, go attend a lecture by a political science professor or something.
Haha fair enough I just think UKIP thrive on that type of simplification.
I understand your point but I think it's an over simplification.

The attackers are the product of "bad multiculturalism". They had no French and European identity, they were born and raised in a country and culture they had no attachment to. And this shouldn't be tolerated.

Have you seen his charity work in Pakistan?
He has I'm sure had Pakistan flag on his shorts.
The best thing about Khan is showing how you can be both British and proud of your heritage.
He certainly gets hate for that though.
The way I understand it, Khan is the representation of what multiculturalism should be. He has a strong British (and European) identity and at the same time, he's proud of his Pakistani heritage and Muslim faith.

What did that have to do with being his fan?
Khan himself doesn't seem to be very multicultural, he portrays himself just as British and acts British
That's not what multiculturalism is... Multiculturalism is like southern California where 2 cultures are heavily influencing each other. In Europe's situation given the current state of their neighboring cultures, multiculturalism doesn't seem so appealing.
edit: Oh I get it. He's using multiculturalism as politically correct UK codespeak for being of a different race.

I'm one of the biggest Khan fans on this site but this Farage guy is absolutely right. Tragic events like this are a direct result of a multiculturalism without a common culture and identity to hold the different cultures together.
Think about it: the attackers were all born and raised in France...
(And if you think this opinion means I'm racist, go see a doctor.)
I'm not his biggest fan but are you serious!?

I don't get it, he's saying he's 100% British so why is he pro-multiculturalism then? It sounds like he supports total assimilation.
Multiculturalism would be if he lived in the UK but still identified culturally with or was loyal to Pakistan.

Monaco will try spin this.

Amir Khan is a Pakistani.
Where do you get off? He was born in England and has lived his whole life here. Fought for his country. What have you done to prove your allowance to the flag? He is British.
