that wilder would get KTFO the moment he steps up in competition? Remember when they said that Wilder would do the chicken dance the moment he gets hit by a real opponent? Remember when they said Wilder has no jab? Remember when they said he doesn't have the stamina to go 12? Remember when they said he has no defense or inside skills?
And The New!!!! Wilder showed Beercules, Richard Dwyer, and all you fools. Don't start making excuses now, Wilder just beat a dangerous seasoned champion and took him to school for 12 rounds. Stiverne's iron chin was the only thing that saved him. Deontay Wilder is the fastest, hardest hitting heavyweight on the planet today with the skills to go with it and I said it BEFORE his win tonight.
I don't want to hear that fat boy Tyson Fury running his mouth anymore. If you're so tough motherfker than get in the ring with the Bronze Bomber who is also now the WBC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD, and we'll see what's up.
BOMB SQUAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :boxing::boxing::boxing::boxing:
well I originally was picking Stiverne by a sneaky points decision but wasn't confident but changed my pick on Showstreak cos my gut kept telling me Wilder's power and distance would be too much...and it was. Good on BOMB SQUAD but let's hope he keeps to his words and fights the best.

I trimmed the quote, but I'll say it, I thought Wilder would get KOed clean, Stiverne seemed like the chip-on-his-shoulder the last couple years, but I'll admit it, I liked what I saw in Wilder. I hope he fights the hard opponents, the names I think he looked good, I think he looked promising.

Are you seriously saying Malik Scott took more punishment than Stiverne? Watch that KO man. Even Wilder's fanboys found it fishy.
Did I say that dumb a$$? The one shot Malik took could be harder than any shot that stiverne took, malik doesn't have the chin that stiverne does.
Talking out of your a$$ again. You weren't in the ring eating those shots were you? So how do you know which shots were harder? If you want to talk about fixed fights we can start with ali liston 2 but that's not what my thread is about. Stick on topic or gtfo.

Your thread is about Wilder proving himself correct? Malik is his 2nd best win?
Man the way Stiverne ate those shots you really have to wonder if the Malik Scott fight was indeed a fix. Stiverne probably took 50 punches that were harder than the one Malik laid down for.

Oh I thought you were kidding about that. He hit Stiverne with everything he had and couldn't stop him. If that was Wlad Stiverne would be in in a coma right now.
Now you're just talking out of your a$$. Wlad said himself after sparring Wilder that Wilder hits as hard as himself, and that was a few years ago. Wlad failed to stop Povetkin or Wach, what makes you think he stops Stiverne who has never been down before tonight?
Wilder did what he was supposed to do with his size and reach advantage. He ran and potshotted to a victory and in the last round he hugged it out.
I don't think this fight proves anything except that Wilder's power isn't all that and that he can go more than 4 rounds.
I'd like to see him fight someone his own size with handspeed. Someone like David Haye would be a great fight. Hes not ready for Wlad and I think everyone agrees with that

And what does that have to do with my thread? I said he is the hardest punching heavyweight today, not of all time. Wlad himself said Wilder was the fastest heavyweight he ever stepped into the ring with.

"Actively hunting down" is a very polite way of putting it. He was plodding with 1 inch steps in the same circular motion the whole fight and you can count the times he lunged in on 1 hand.
This was by far the best win on his record but you guys saying he's proven beyond a doubt this and that are exaggerating hysterically. There's a thread calling him the most athletic heavyweight of all time... LOL

The fight went exactly like I thought it would if you're bored enough to find my pre-fight posts. Stiverne stood there getting hit just like he did VS Arreola, looking for one big punch, but it didn't work because Wilder is too rangey.
Sure you did :lol1:
And Stiverne was not standing there, did you even watch the fight? he was actively hunting down Wilder, but Wilders footwork, jab, and defense was far better than he anticipated.
Lol someone is in denial. What happened to "wilder gets exposed and stopped the moment he fights a real opponent?" I guess Stiverne who stopped Arreola faster than Vitali did and was the wbc champion of the world wasn't a real opponent. :D
