Has King Khan paid the price of waiting out Floyd / Manny?

All Khan has to do is say he will fight Brook and the TBA Brook would fight would be him. Khan seems to want no part of Brook. Brook has been calling him out for years now. Brook's promoter has been begging Khan to fight Brook. I think Khan would make huge money if he fought Brook. A win over Brook gives Khan a world title that he doesn't have now and increases the chances he will get a fight with Floyd or Manny. Porter and Maidana would be good opponents for Khan and easy fights to make. A fight with Bradley would be hard to make because Arum still almost never has his fighters fight guys he doesn't promote. Good points. I think it may be an ego issue for Khan not wanting to indulge Brook. Khan makes good money in the US and though he would be better paid in the UK fighting Brook there is also the risk of a defeat in a massive domestic fight. If he stays in the US fighting his peers, the chance with Floyd is always possible - basically there is less risk for him in the US and still the chance of the Mayweather Lottery ticket.

Guerrero being removed as an option might indicate Khan is getting the Mayweather fight because the latest noises on May-Pac do not sound positive. this, also apparently cotto is fighting bradley, so tim is out of the picture for khan

Floyd vs Manny is far from a done deal, and if it doesn't happen, Khan has a good chance to get the Floyd fight. Porter makes little sense. Khan could one-up Brook against him but that's not much of a reward. Bradley would be my choice if Floyd and Brook aren't available. Very winnable, high reward fight for Khan. I agree with most of what you have said. But... I do think Khan played a bit of brinkmanship in waiting out Floyd. The only way he will get Floyd now is if the Pac fight isn't made. Floyd stated that Khan' carries no weight' last month, so it is a tough sell for Floyd if he does pick Khan. I think Khan should take a risk / reward - Bradley and then Brook.

The point of my post is; What are his options for the first half of 2015. 1) Stay busy fight = lower risk Mr TBA 2) Bradley / Porter = higher risk / reward 3) No fight at all until Brook 4) Manny / Floyd - looks V unlikely at this point. Where are you getting this from that they didn't really want the fight? Don't tell me it's that stupid video which has been twisted? If they wanted it, then why didn't they wait until Khan gave a definite answer?

Won't be surprised if its Bradley vs Khan next. Great fight to me. Fantastic fight. I am extremely excited about the possibilities of 2015 with all the great potential fights on the horizon. I actually prefer this fight over khan brook but that's just me.

What I mean is Khan was clearly quite expectant that he would get a fight with Floyd in 2015. When Floyd appeared uninterested Khan turned to Manny. Now it looks like Floyd and Manny may actually happen. He does not seem to want Brook yet. In the meantime other WW matches have been announced which does now limit Khan if he is seeking a big fight. I hope that's clearer.

I'd love to see Khan vs Maidana II. The winner could face Brook. Understandable if you are a Maidana fan but Khan has absolutely zero reason to fight Maidana again. As a Khan fan I would love to see Khan vs Garcia II, but I accept that Garcia has zero reason to give Khan a rematch.
