Someone who was not scared, would not back down and was in his face the entire fight...He had not seen anything like that is years!!!! I think that fight may have actually humbled him and took him back to reality....might have made an even better fighter out of him...Sometimes boxers need a real test by lesser fighters to let them know they are not untouchable...
Based on how they stacked the deck against Maidana in the rematch, I agree that it was humbling.
!00% agree there Floyd certainly stacked the deck against Maidana in the rematch. Floyd wasn't used to a straight down the line referee like Tony Weekes was in Maidana 1 Deep down Floyd knows he lost that fight. Anywhere but Vegas he probably would have:poke:
Appreciate the foot movement. :boxing:
And btw those that say Maidana is "flat footed" are just ignorant. Look video above, he has good foot work.
How does Maidana have good footwork LMFAO!!!! BWHAHAHA!!!! He walks forward and once Floyd starts bouncing Maidana is squared up and his feet don't move until Floyd is totally gone lol. It's easier said than done but you feint with your feet, lead Floyd to exit left when he does you jump on him. Then same thing to the right and cut off the ring. Not walk forward, watch and follow lol.
he didnt really do that much better in the second fight, he may have won more rounds but it more or less had to do with maidana choosing to be inactive. hell he got got caught bad by maidana a few times, he got himself countered by a fighter who isnt that fast and cant counter at all.
floyd fighting scared in the second fight is not the same as floyd fighting confident from 2009.
he was younger in 2009 also u think that may have something to do with it?

I totally agree.
Better to fix it now then the in a fight where he can't come back from.
Just read on Yahoo that Manny can wear 8oz Reyes gloves so after reading that Mayweather will not sign if he cried about Madaina gloves he will cry here
Can't wait for this fight.. Pac speed is still faster than Maidana even at this point. And Pac will throw combos. Floyd will try to time and counterpunch .. haven't been this excited for May in a long time..

You spend everyday complaining about Floyd and Floyd-Pac threads and now this? You are a special kind of *******.

it wasn't a hard fight to score except for one round that i was slightly indecisive about until recently
if not for the point deduction for maidana in a round he was winning it would have been another draw on my scorecard
i think people mentally tuned out of the fight after it was made clear it was going to be more of a boxing match, and as more of a "boxing" match, they assume mayweather dominated
Yea it was a real good fight .....

This is where floyd will realize his cherrypicking has put him at a disadvantage with Pac. Pac has had more competitive fights like Marquez and Bradley compared to the steady diet of B and C level one dimensional fighters Floyd fought. Floyd has not have a Bradley to test his skills.
