Carl Froch says his Las Vegas fight with Julio Chavez Jr is nearly agreed

HBO already told him it's not PPV, so it doesn't fit Froch's goal which is to headline a Vegas PPV. I understand the reasons as to why you ( and many others) want Golovkin-Froch, but both guys have stated their current goals within the last week and none of them mentioned each other because the fight is not yet realistic. I never knew this but it could just be lack of willing imo and just a way to avoid Golovkin and Golovkin to avoid Froch

Golovkin is gonna be huge and if Froch could derail him it would be amazing and he isn't PPV yet only because he hasn't fought a big name.. this would make Golovkin PPV?YES? Casuals would be talking "whos this Golovkin guy" then looking him up .. sky sports would be showing highlight reels of Golovkin and the broadcasters would be saying its potentially the hardest fight of Frochs career... Thats all well and good but he could put on a spectacular preformance against Golovkin in Vegas can't he??? Why pick on Chavez a guy who's not committed/has a dying fanbase and has never fought anyone as big as Froch or really outpointed anyone.. Andy Lee was winning a decision before Chavez dropped him and he got a lucky nod against Vera...I just can't hand out box office money for this crap It'll be on PPV in the US, Golovkin wouldn't. Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt Froch-Chavez will be on PPV in the UK at 4-5am.

You sure about that... fighting in Vegas against Chavez just doesn't seem that good to me,maybe if Chavez was still undefeated but I think his stock has gone down tremendously since the Matinez fight,and those Vera fights sucked..you'd think Chavez would have been motivated in the rematch ..trust me this fight is pathetic ..how's he going to hurt Froch a bigger man than anyone he has fought before that can take punches from god himself and still be standing...are you actually interested in this fight and willing to pay 15 quid?? talk to the hand mate.. Hope so. Carl absolutely deserves to end his career by ticking the last box on his list of accomplishments. Vegas is all that's left and this would do it. It'll also be a hell of a scrap. Great action packed fight. I can't wait for this to happen! With regards to the Arum contract, this would be Junior's last fight and Bob has acknowledged that. No extensions anymore, he just wants Junior to now fulfill his last contract obligation.

If there was ever a guy who deserved a big Vegas fight to end his career, it's Froch. Should be good while it lasts.
