It might very well work in terms of offense, but it's a dangerous move imo. GGG has a big hook himself, I think he'd eventually counter the left hook off the jab with his own left hook. And as they say, you don't want to hook with a hooker. It could be effective for a guy with a big edge in foot and hand speed, along with a very good chin, just in case. Though I see nobody like Manny Pacquiao fighting at MW.

Ouma landed lots of shots on Golovkin, and he was rewarded with a trip to the hospital for a suspected brain bleed and pretty much retired on the spot.

It's not that simple. He doesn't do anything randomly, if he jabs and puts right hand in a parrying position, it's because he knows his opponent is gonna jab with him. If you start hooking off the jab, you might catch him once but then he'll take that into account and won't make the same mistake again. That's what makes him extremely dangerous, in addition to his power, it's his ability to read his opponents and adjust to what they do.

I want to see Golovkin fight someone who is fast. I feel like he is going to KO Murray with a body shot.. no doubt in him winning. Golovkin vs Lemieux could be interesting. Canelo and Cotto would be interesting since they would probably have some of the faster hands GGG has faced in a prizefight. That would be a great fight while it lasted.

GGG is a unit at 160 and nobody is beating him anytime soon. I think Ward at 168 is the biggest test. Hopefully that fight comes to play in 2015
