I bet Kathy Duva is regretting speaking out at WBC convention and offering 50:50 split for Stevenson and Kovalev/Pascal winner. With numbers like this Stevenson doesn't deserve an even split. I have a theory that the way Haymon does business shouldn't work today. Information is spread a lot quicker today than it did 20 years ago. A fight against a nobody was an easier sell back then. And stars were much harder to build, so it paid to protect them. Could you imagine GGG getting the profile he gained within two years 20 years ago? Today other fighters quickly grab the attention while Haymon manoeuvres his fighters through inactivity periods and meaningless fights. Don King is out of business because his methods couldn't keep up with the times. Al Haymon is next.

Then how can you be glad he got paid that much? Big money to fight duds is the reason he's not taking the big fights, whether it be against Kovalev, Hopkins or Pascal. Because fighters deserve to get paid good money, regardless of opponent. I don't get mad when a fighter gets over paid because more often than not they get underpaid, like Kov did against Bhop. Stevenson has taken big fights, he didn't last year. Let's not make 2014 his whole career. Since he isn't fighting top guys I am not watching his fights until the kov/pascal winner.

When you look at Showtimes lineup in 2014, it was beyond pathetic the fights they put out. And as of next year they only have 1 fight scheduled. Something is up...

I didn't watch it. Glad Stevenson got paid that much. I won't watch another Stevenson fight until he fights the Pascal v kovalev winner. Then how can you be glad he got paid that much?
