Hamed was pretty embarrassing. Broner tried to fight back and even had a few moments. Hamed was just thoroughly outclassed. Either way, they both had it coming!
Naz lost a 12 round decision in a fight that was even half way through, stuck around for the post fight interview and said he would take the loss.
Broner walked out of the ring before the formalities and had to be escorted back to the dressing room looking like he was going to cry.
He also got bummed by Maidana.
Broners was far more embarassing.
ugh :pat:
hamed was on his ascension - don't come with these excuses. he found out that of the three mexicans, he couldn't handle the least dangerous and called it a career.
it's a sucker move, albeit expected from sorry types, to blame it on anything else other than his stepping up his level of opposition.
Well if you look at the style of the Ingle gym it's unique. I remember being 5 years old watching Naz on terrestrial tv with my dad he was fantastic. That wasn't the same Naz.
I was going to write some of the points you stated. I think change of trainer and bad hands is what stopped Naz in his tracks.

hamed was actually.
he didn't eat, live well. nor train hard always.
some fighters have short primes.
new trainer who tried to change his style didn't help.
some guys are better unorthodox and not textbook.
especially with naseem's explosiveness, power and speed.

All time most embarrassing and humiliating and basically just getting owned
" I have a question, got any excuses tonight roy?"
And proceeds to knock roy out
Total ownage by tarver
Self prophecy is not just empty words. That dude KNEW he'd do it, so impressive.

Another embarrassing one is gary Russell jr..
It wasn't bad beat down, but to lose to a guy that was 1-1 and your like 22-0 and the 1-1 fighter has fought better guys.. That has to make you feel pretty salty and embarrassed afterwards.. 1-1 and has the better opponents on his resume.. That's pathetic
michael grant to jameel mccline.
dropped by practically a jab and twisted his ankle and quit.
and did i mention it was the 1st punch thrown in the fight in the 1st round?
nah man, hamed getting full-nelson'd into that corner was nothing less than full on emasculation.

that has to be the funniest KO in history, the way he got up pointing his glove to the referee like saying "don't you stop this" in bambi legs, only to fall again less than a second latter
One of the Funniest KO's was Powell vs Bundrage 1
I'd pick naseem vs barrera slightly.
As c-o-c-k-y as Broner was leading up to the fight, you have to go back and review Naseem's comments and attitude leading up to the fight, dude was so c-o-c-k-y he made Broner look humble at times.

Judah losing to tszyu is still one of the funniest things ever...
Gatti getting beat down by floyd created the saying "he got gatti'd". Or "floyd would gatti that dude". That's how bad of a beat down it was... Gatti turned into a damn verb to describe a massacre in the boxing ring...

Hamed was already declining rapidly, wasn't training properly and his hands were shot to pieces by the time he fought Barrera, a hall of fame legendary fighter. That's not an excuse why he lost but a couple of years earlier it could have been a lot different. He still never got dropped or anything either. He was just beaten by a truly great fighter that night. No shame in that and he shouldn't really receive any negativity for it.
Broner on the other hand had talked himself up as the next huge superstar of boxing, with the backing TV networks who were all building him up as their next big PPV star. I think they thought Maidana was going to be an easy fight for them and a good name, and it all went wrong, he was dropped twice and well beaten. But let's remember Broner did show a lot of heart during the fight, he got up and was fighting back and had some success in parts of the fight. There was a few moments from him like the overreaction to the headbutt and not sticking round for the interview that made him look bad. But the guy did show some heart when he was fighting and showed he can stay in there and be tough, he never ran.
So to answer your question, neither were embarrassing.
Hamed lost a 12 round decision to legendary fighter.
Broner lost a 12 round decision to a fighter who is still a world class fighter.
I don't see how either are embarrassing. It's just a loss, big deal.
stopped reading there.
