Roy never fought Dariusz Michalczewski who was his #2 for a very long time, and they didn't have network or promotional issues.
No they had country and fear issues from DM's side. It's well documented.
You come to the P4P#1 and not the other way around.
DM knew he would get smeared and that was that.
Wow. He mentioned the word boring twice. He's pissed obviously.
Yes, he's pissed even Dlh thinks ppv numbers were down coz the coward doesn't want to do the suoerfight that will spring board boxing back to life.
Floyd is holding boxing hostage for his cowardly ways. Roy sees it.
Did someone really say Floyd transcends the sport of boxing? no that is Pacquiao, you have to have something other than boxing that people can respect, Pac has been called an important person by Time magazine, he has been covered for out of boxing issues, like his fight against human trafficking, helping the poor in his country, has Floyd ever been under the type of death pressure pac has? Floyd would never leave his house if he lived in the philippines during politics season where over 1000 people die and get assassinated while running or helping other politicos.
FLOYD IS NOT SUPER FAMOUS!
you guys don't understand the boxing ppv model, just because he sold 2 million buys doesn't means he is world famous, those are mainly boxing fans and sports fan casuals who order his fights, there is over 350 million people in America.
And Floyd is not more famous than Pacquiao, because everyone who knows Floyd knows who Pacquiao is in America. Their names are tied together, and of course Floyd should have MORE PPV buys than Pac, FLOYD IS AMERICAN! at one point Floyd was jealous that Pac got more love than he did in his own country this came out of Floyds mouth.
Pacman is still the highest grossest foreign ppv star in America. and he isn't even a heavyweight also he was a ppv star in boxing long before Floyd even fought Oscar, Floyd was even Pacs fan, so how can floyd act like Pac ws a nobody
This is floyd doing his bull s1t tactics again trying to fool the public, he counters and deflects with what he is doing so people will believe his lies the guy is a master manipulator the ffight has always been up to him to make nobody can force him he is in full control of whether this fight gets made or not nobody else its up too him to give a fair offer.
Yeah floyd is a POS because he priced himself out of a fight the public wanted to see.

Roy Jones has never done that before.
hopkins backed out of the fight because he was going to have to pay HIS promoter, don king, out HIS purse.
a fighter having to pay his promoter...wow what a crazy stipulation that was.
LMAO.
Roy laying it thick on Floyd.
Roy has had enough from floyd's posturing. he sees Floyd as a man ruining boxing , Floyd being a coward boxer that he is and who doesn't fight the best time and time again doesn't get any respect from Roy.
A coward doesn't belong in boxing. He can see through Floyd's easy path of cherry picking his opponents and ducking legit threats doesn't sit well with the real legends of the game.
Sorry, I'm not here to do a flomwo Vs Roy war, just stating Roy was heavily called a cherry picker back in the 90's by HBO.
He's not exactly what they referred to as the Roberto Duran type of fighter himself.
You have to go back and study the sport and his fights.
This is why no one was suprised when he went to HW to fight John Ruiz, when Lennox Lewis was the legit HW of the world.
Similar to what Mayweather did when he fought Baldomir, when Antonio Margarito was the legit MW champ
Any other questions young man?
All of this, is true. :headbang::boxing:
great post.
Floyd had a chance to LEGITIMATELY get into top 10 ATG status.
After beating ricky at 147 he retired and left all these fights on the table:
Prime Pacquiao
Prime Margarito
Prime Cotto
Prime Paul Williams
Younger Shane Mosley
Hell instead of taking on a glorified club banger in maidana 2x and guerrero, he could have easily fought Sergio AT 160 and become a legit middleweight champion.
He took the easy road instead. He fake retired and let everybody beat each other up and came back against a career featherweight at welter and cheated him on the scales to boot.
REPUGNANT.
DISGUSTING.
He even said it. "lo-look at a-all these guys. They're beating eachother up, b-but they can't beat me"
Yea, kinda hard to do that when you won't fight them.
No, that isn't a fact, it's an opinion. Calling a fighter "boring" is subjective, many of us appreciate the fine aspects boxing over unskilled brawling. Moreover, why aren't all the other undefeated fighters (Ward, M. Garcia, D. Garcia, Wilder, ect.) putting up big PPV numbers or transcending the sport of boxing?
:pat:
Floyd is not transcending boxing. Hes a C list celebrity at best.
Yeah floyd is a POS because he priced himself out of a fight the public wanted to see.

Roy Jones has never done that before.
Roy Jones like any respected black athlete are just voicing their true opinion. There are two sides to Floyd's fans. The educated and the uneducated. 99% who idolizes Floyd are the uneducated. Those are the guys that don't read so they end up in jail for selling cocaine on the street.
They repeat anything Floyd say. If Floyd say Pacquiao should not wear a boxing trunk during the fight, like a human dummy they'll repeat that $h!t all over the internet over and over. "Oh oh oh the fight isn't going to happen unless Pacquiao fights Floyd naked!"
I'm really thankful for the 1% who sees truth for what it really is. Guys like Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Roy Jones, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler and the lists goes on.
Floyd, keep running your mouth with all your scripted interviews over at FightHype.com; so scared of Pacquiao, you can't even sit your a$$ properly on ESPN because you know you can't cover up your cowardness without your scripted lines.
Roy never fought Dariusz Michalczewski who was his #2 for a very long time, and they didn't have network or promotional issues.
dariusz had a traveling issue.
This is the boldest I've seen the legendary great Roy Jones go at floyd, usually he's on floyd's side or at least neutral; --he really made a mocking out of floyd.
He's probably had enough of floyd's cowardice like millions of others and became a total convert now to pacman's side or at the very least felt greatly disappointed. See, that midget is poison to floyd, as soon as he gets rid of that, the sooner he will be relieved of that poison. It's getting worse now as the poison spreads. His fans can't hold him forever, pretty soon, nothing will be left, because no one wants to be associated with a coward. The few who are left were probably of the same feather, or most probably were still in denial after at these years.
Look guys, to those who are still in denial, he said it again in his latest interview, in a very emphatic way, that he doesn't mind being called a rich coward, this is him unconsciously, indirectly and subtly saying he is indeed a coward. And now, why is it a surprise that floyd made the super fight negotiation so excruciatingly difficult to be made; when everyone knows he can make it fair for both parties, and the fight could have been made a very long time ago, he is purposely not treating pacquiao his due; --treating him as C-side instead of B-side, he thinks he can get away with this but people with half a brain knew otherwise. If that doesn't wake you up, yet, then nothing will.
P.S. I'm friggin' thrilled and curious how floyd can get away this time in the negotiation and thereby in the process disappointing moonves. That guy isn't a joke. I hope he tries and boss around moonves and then let's see what will happen.
Floyd had the chances that Roy didn't have put right there on a silver platter yet Floyd ducked risk.
Floyd could have fought Martinez, Williams and more importantly, Manny but he didn't.
I said it earlier this year that Floyd missed the boat. It's definitely too late for Williams and Martinez and now we are looking the earliest May 2015 so one can even say its too late for Manny as well. Still a fight I want to see but not the same as it would have been in 2010 ....
