AMIR KHAN produced the kind of display that will have Floyd Mayweather running for the hills - and that's the problem.
The Bolton ace brilliantly took American Devon Alexander to the cleaners here in this WBC welterweight clash with all three judges ruling the two time world champ was the unanimous and deserved winner.
It was superb stuff from the 28 year-old who carried out trainer Virgil Hunter's cautious yet clinical game plan to perfection. Alexander just couldn't get near him, picked off by jabs and cracking combinations.

Khans lastest interview on IFL he says if he cant get the fight with Floyd or Pac, he will go for Garcia rematch or Brook
Its a shame Floyd ducked Khan...he will never fight him, he see's something he doesnt like.
If no Pac or May, I'd like to see Brook but if that can't happen the Garcia rematch is one I want to see.
Brook would be a good payday and a good win for Khan if he wins. Khan has turned this fight down many times and he might turn it down again. Khan certainly doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to do.
Maidana has been dropped by Khan and Ortiz.
Ortiz has been dropped by Berto and Maidana, and stopped by Collazo.
Great argument :lol1:
Yeah you take one line out of my entire statment and try to use that. :nono:
Other than Ortiz quiting against Maidana how many times have any of those guys been stopped?
Not happening. Garcia would have very little to gain and everything to lose in a Khan rematch. I don't see him taking it.
Al Haymon can make it happen, trust me
Yes Garcia has less to gain, but if the moneys on the table, he has to take it.

Brook is a good money maker for Khan but he has turned that fight down about 100 times so he might turn it down again.
He kept turning it down because Brook was a certified nobody. Now that Brook is a somebody, Khan will fight him (if he doesn't get the Floyd fight ofc).

Amir has been making his name and fan base here in USA where even the likes of Carl Froch and Joe Calzaghi could not. Both of them were fighting in UK and dreamed of fighting at MGM as the main attraction. But they were unable to as they were not fighting here in USA.
Now Amir has successfully been making his name in USA. Everybody in UK already knows Amir even without any socalled belts. On the other Hand Kell Brook needs Amir as stepping stone to build his name even in UK what to talk of USA.
So why should Amir fight Brook? for $5 million and give a shot to fame to Brook. Not at all, Amir is an established name he can fight anytime he wants to fight Brook.
If Mayweather ends up fighting Pacquiao next then Amir should ask for Bradley and JMM on the undercard. Bradley coming from a loss and recent draw will have his hat lower and might agree to Amir for big bucks. Amir should give Bradley equal amount of money to fight him. Bradley is considered number three at Welterweight behind Mayweather and Pacquiao.
Guerrero, Ortiz, Canelo and Maidana...
How many of them had been KO'd or TKO'd before facing Mayweahter? 1. Ortiz when he just quit against Maidana.
Khan has been stopped twice. KO by Prescott and TKO by Garcia. He's been knocked down multiple times and been hurt on several occasions. It has nothing to do with race. Even though Mayweather is no KO artist you still have people out there that questions Khan's Chin. I would like to see the fight happen though.

Agree that Khan is unfairly hated but I don't necessarily think it's racial. I can't really put it down to anything.
Khan and Donaire are two fighters that seem to rub people the wrong way and I don't know why. When I call them out on their hate, they answer with generalities like "delusional idiot", "overrated", "hypejob" "doesn't deserve this and that".
ya honestly i dont think it has anything to do with racial at all

The Prescott fight was what? 6 years ago? and yes Garcia stopped him. Khan has come back from them though. Garcia fought Salka and got away with it with Herrera, Prescott who?
I don't think Khan should be in a ring with Mayweather but I'm saying that if you dig enough you can find something on everybody.
Yep, this ^. I have always felt, with Khan, that there's an underlying racial motive for the hate. The guy has done more than pretty much all of the above, yet he still needs to 'earn a shot'.
Shame on you, NSB posters.

What have done Guerrero, Ortiz, Canelo and Maidana to deserve Floyd?
