Around the 22:10 mark.
There we have it from a legit source in Goldenboy and legend in boxing.
I'm a big Hopkins fan and have a ton of respect for him but kov did not have to "earn that win". He controlled the fight from the beginning to the end!
What so Floyd just only does business and fight against people he likes? It's a cop out. If you're willing to leave $100 mil on the table solely because you don't like who your opponents promoter is then it's a duck.
Floyd hasn't liked oscar dela Hoya for years yet conducted business with him despite the hate and dislike and even let oscar make money off of him!
Espinoza said this weekend that the $16m loss is false. Said, "mathematically impossible" which is pretty obvious anyway. Said Floyd made a profit and so did Showtime.
:pat::pat:
My read on the whole thing (not just this video) is that Mayweather will never fight Pacquiao but now being forced to because of the "powers that be" making this as a possibility. He wants to retire UNDEFEATED and now his manhood is being challenged.
Totally agree with this

In order for this fight to happen is both Manny and Floyd have to agree to fight each other. This is 2014, 23 days left before it ends. Manny called out Floyd, obviously he wants it. What about Floyd? Does he wants it? Floyd "Money" Mayweather will get 100 mil guaranteed fight fee, 60% of the PPV, gate fee, endorsement fee, man he can retire after that and never to step on the ring again until he dies. Imagine the rematch money? Holy Molly.
First off pac only brings 1/3rd the ppv's as mayweather, like it or not thats the truth. Do you think Arum is gonna negotiate with those facts and think Haymon doesnt know this? You guys were saying it would be wrong for pac to take the 40m offer because its ludicrous, but you think floyd should accept a ludicrous offer when the #'s say he only deserves 35% TOPS. The NUMBERS DONT LIE, Floyd just had the top 2 selling PPV's of last year and Manny had very poor #'s are we supposed to ignore this? This is business:doh:
But Showtime was banking on Floyds every fight will be a million PPV buys hence the big money guarantee fight fee. Did he break million PPV buys on all his last fight? (except Mexican back Canelo and stacked up supporting bouts). You're right, it is business and CBS is not making a lot of money from their their investment. Manny's PPV stunked in China, not his fault. His promoter made an in-house money though. 60-40 on PPV cut, 100 mil for Floyd and 60 mil for Manny, I think it is reasonable enough for both to get in the ring and just get it done. Imagine the money for the rematch? Holly crap.
I like Brook and Thurman as well -- but let's face it, the media will go at him regardless of who he chooses. Although if Pacquiao is fighting Vargas next, something tells me they might be fine with Marquez. But I'm just throwing names out there. I believe that aside from Pacquiao, Garcia is the most deserving challenger.
By dint of what? Losing to Herrera and fighting ron salsa?:rofl:
You are jokking about Marquez though?
The media would obiliterate Floyd if he tried to fight Marquez, yes Marquez is still a TOP P4P fighter and top WW, but you know Floyd is held at different standards.
If no Pacquiao, he should be fighting Kell Brook or Keith Thurman.

yeah, just like, vacation, not thinking boxing, health comes first, rich coward, pac your are next, take the test, $40M flat etc... and what are you saying again? lol! "peeleft:
Only one of those were during any kind of negotiation so they mean nothing.I can come up with a list of excuses Pac and his team came up with over the years as well. Does that mean they ducked all those times?
And the 40mil flat fee was more like 40 mil and Pac can negotiate, but didn't bother. Not to mention, Arum made it clear that he would not allow the fight at that time anyway, so that point is mute as well....that's what I was saying!

anyone as long as its not Pac! lol
Isn't this EXACTLY what Pac did in fighting Clottey???

Danny Garcia
Miguel Cotto
Marquez
Who really knows? I wouldn't be surprised to see Mayweather take May off if a Pacquiao or Khan fight doesn't come to fruition.
