Lots of people ackowledge Lee beat them and what they did, so bruce obviously had more fights than youd like to admit to knowing about. No one who seriously sparred with Lee can realy recall hitting Lee on the chin so that obviously needs to be taken into consideration. And the consideration is that Pac would land nothing on Lees chin. All we are trying to assess is what would happen if Bruce and Pac fought in a bar room, nobody is going to go to jail or get hanged or die if we get the decision wrong. If we think Bruce would beat Pac in 30seconds and get it wrong and in reality it would only take Lee 20 seconds to beat him, no one was harmed in us getting our prediction wrong. If only a quarter of what we read is to be believed, Bruce would beat Pac in any bar room in the world. i'll give you guys a little history lesson since you bruce lee fans don't know anything. ever watch ufc and hear them refer to a KIMURA? it's an armlock submission. do you know why it's called a kimura? it's a brazilian jiu-jitsu term with a japanese name. in 1940's helio gracie using bjj fought a jap judo champ in a mma fight. the judo guy broke his arm with a judo hold. the brazilians adopted it, added it to bjj and named it after yhe judo guy, KIMURA. american wrestlers called it CHICKEN WING. judo guys call it something else of course. that's mixed martial arts. that's crosstraining styles. not learning wing chun PARTIALLY and making up your own name for it. I alredy know all of this, Helio beat the number 2 ranked Judo player from Japan after Kimura told him he'd fight if he did it, so Kimura had to fight him. Helio refused to tap and his corner threw in the towel. Kimura also out weighed Helio by quite a large amount. Anyway, sure Vale Tudo matches have been going on in Brazil since atleast the 20 s and I'm aware of where Sambo came from. Mixed matches might have been happening all over the world for quite some time but they've always been completely obscure outside of places like Brazil or Japan etc, it's never been a recognized sport that is MMA which has only been the sport that we've come to know for a very short time. Before the UfC, Pride etc it was NHB or Vale Tudo. And I'm actually pretty sure that the Gracie's already knew about the Kimura before then, BJJ does come from Judo, it's basically just a more developed version of Judos ground game. As historians you have to have an opinion on what you believe to be true. Whether you believe people take joy in losing to actors. As a historian i believe all the things people say Lee did to them and what they saw Lee do, why would they lie about being inferior to an actor? boxers and wrestlers were fighting each other in america/europe late 1800's. jap judo guys were going to us/eur military academies demonstrading judo to western wrestlers. gracies in brazil were fighting boxers, wrestlers, capoeiera guys in matches 1920's-1930's. russians mixed jap judo, western wrestling, asian wrestling to create sambo 1930's. but a 60's B movie actor influenced mma and mixing styles?
