For Floyd Mayweather, it's all about the money.
The American boxer reportedly wants the lion's share of the revenues from a megafight with Manny Pacquiao. According to a report by Sports Illustrated's Chris Mannix, a source close to Mayweather said that the unbeaten fighter "would need to receive close to two-thirds of the revenue" from the much-awaited fight.
In the same report, Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum disputed the figures while declining to divulge specifics.
Arum said he had been in contact with CBS chief executive Les Moonves, who has been brokering negotiations, and that "based on my conversations, that is not accurate." CBS owns the Showtime network, which has an exclusive deal with Mayweather.
Talks between the two fighters have been off-and-on through the years, with negotiations breaking down mostly because of Mayweather's demands. But the involvement of Moonves has brought fresh hope that Mayweather and Pacquiao would finally get into the ring. — JST, GMA News
Where’s Espinoza’s voice in all this? Floyd? And how come no voice? Because they have instructions to ZIP it! CBS-Showtime has lost big money on the Floyd deal so far. Les Moonves needs to recoup those losses. Floyd is being TOLD what he has to do. I do not believe Floyd has much say in this deal. Let’s see how creative (cowardly) he gets to wiggle out of this one. Hangnail on fight night maybe!
pacquiao can't sell crap anymore. look at his numbers for his chinese crap shot PPV's. terrible. he's at the point where he wants to make alot of money off mayweathers name.

I'm with you man, I think at this point, Pac will give into a lot of Floyd's demands just to get him in the ring and then we will see the Manny from 2012. He is going to beat Floyd within an inch of his life.
So he is either going to lose a controversial decision or get KD'd and subsequently brutally KTFO?
Easy for me to say since I'm not Manny -- but I think if it's true, Manny should take it. Give in to whatever f**king demands he wants.
Just get him in the ring and then beat the dog sh*t out of this f@ggot mother**ker.
You know what? At this point I agree. I mean whatever portion Manny gets I'm sure would be more than fighting 10 Algieri's and 5 Bradley's combined.
Manny take this fight, beat the living dog sh1t out of this a s s wipe, and rid boxing of the Floyd circus act.

If true...fmj makes demands rather then makes negotiations. That's not how this fight is going to be made if he really wants it. Although, I agree he should get the lions share on the purse he's got to be reasonable. We're not talking about a maiadana or a Guerrero here.
So manny accepts the purse. What other ridiculous demands will be next. Seems fmj will demand himself out of this fight so he and floyd fans came claim manny didn't accept. An obvious ploy for fmj to get out this fight while attempting to save face with the public.

i also read somewhere that mayweather wants a rematch clause that only benefits him. if floyd wins, he doesnt have to give a rematch. if pac wins, he has to give floyd a rematch.
If this is true, then it's another unrealistic offer by duck weather. It's a kind of offer that he knows Pac won't agree on. An obvious lame offer.
Another duck move by vaginaweather.
