read on another boxing website that wlad will fight briggs next if a deal wasn't reached with Jennings. I agree. that's like people saying chisora had an iron chin when he went the distance with vitali. vitali has never been a huge puncher espescially in his comeback at an older age. wlad is a much much sharper puncher than vitali. briggs wouldn't have been able to absorb half the punishment from wlad if it were his punches. briggs has always had a descent chin but its also been cracked on more than one occasion I'm sure Vitali punches pretty hard, he's just not an explosive puncher like Wlad is. Wlad's right hand comes like a missile behind the jab and he would have easily knocked Briggs out. Vitali is more like an arm puncher and swings a little and has a clubbing right hand. Easier to absorb. That's how Lewis knocked him out too. Explosive power. Anyways, Briggs chin is OK I guess, but his biggest problem is stamina. if he doesn't get them out of there in the first couple of rounds, it's pretty much over.

The biggest Briggs' fanatic is Wladimir Klitshcko. BTW, did you watch the fight of Mickey Rourke? Get ready for the sequel :D

Wlad can beat up Briggs if he wants, it is a waste of time but Wlad does have some time to kill and leaving contenders to build up rather than knocking them off early. Yuck fight though but it happens hopefully more can get settled in the division to give Wlad something a bit better later in the year.

guess the altercations were fake then if this comes off. Um, theres a video of briggs where he comes up on a speed boat behind wlad who is paddle boarding. Completely fake. How the **** would he know he is paddle boarding that day at that time at that place and then have time to arrange for a speed boat. Also it was reported that vitali and briggs were good friends before and after the fight. Briggs obviously had connections with the Klits for years now. Wlad is trying to do him a favor by hooking him up with a big dollar fight.

There would be no issue if Briggs actually was beating someone in the top 25 but the records of his recent competition is complete ****, he is fighting tomatoe cans. Wlad is obviously in on the whole thing. Like Briggs would know where the **** he is paddle boarding at. Its all to stir up interest in a fight. But Briggs is old as hell, shot and fighting cab drivers to keep a winning record. He has no business fighting the number 1 heavyweight in the world.

Briggs will last at least 6 rounds with his iron chin and his will to win considering it is literally his last chance to become champion again. I'd love this fight. What could be more fun than seeing a guy running around following someone talking mad isht, and then getting the brakes beat off him? I hate Wlad and would love to see him beat the holy hell out of Briggs. This would keep me laughing for at least a week.

Well Wlad has given me the fights I have wanted to see him in for a while now. They may not have come out the way I wanted to, but he fought them. Haye, Pulev, Povetkin, Chambers, Chagaev, Thompson, Ibragimov. Every HW boxer I thought had a good shot at giving Wlad a fight in the last 6 years, he fought them and dominated them. I'm not justifying Wlad vs Briggs, let's face it it probably won't happen, but I wouldn't talk sh*t either. I want to see Wlad vs Fury/Wilder like everyone else. But I won't sit here and act like Wlad hasn't consistently fought the guys I wanted him to fight.

He should fight Briggs on the same night that he fights Jennings. Only way that fight interests me.
