Why do you think that? well,,it may just be paranoia but the fact wlad is trying to fight in nyc where briggs is from and his camp stating that it would be briggs if an agreement isn't reached with Jennings makes me feel uneasy. I just get this feeling that its going to end up being against briggs. I'll tell you this,,,if wlad fights briggs when a deal could have been reached with jennings I will no longer be supporting him as a fan. there's no reason to be fighting a washed up has been like briggs when there's Jennings or maybe even fury available

Yeah he just fought a mandatory, so he's entitled to have a voluntary defence. I'm wondering if he's trying to set up a PPV fight in America. I was talking generally, not just about Fury. We all know well that Wlad will never vacate the bell. Now that Fury is mandatory, fair enough, fight needs to happen sooner rather than later anyway, but nothing wrong if Wlad wants to fight Jennings before summer (if he can without vacating). Yeah, thought Jennings might be the grittiest of the undefeated US group but he didn't look that strong against Perez, he was getting pushed around quite a bit. I was surprised by that..as well as defense up the middle, Perez's jab stood him up and had him leaning back giving up a straight line shots that even a shorter armed PErez took advantage of .. I don't think his chances against Wlad are that good. He's an on the job learner though, a lot of willpower and he has shown that he gets a 2nd wind. If he can work on varying his defense he might be able to hang around and at least finish strong

Not really. Fury has earned his shot now, and the WBO will call a mandatory before the summer. I think Wlad would be forced to fight Fury then if he doesn't want to vacate. I don't think vacating a belt not to fight a top challenger would leave a positive mark on his legacy, even if it is to go after the WBC belt. I think Wlad is trying to break the Joe Louis defenses record, no matter the opponents. He will earn more respect once he fights the winner of Stiverne-Wilder in late 2015, then Fury and Joshua after that.

Well, Wladimir is a class apart. He'll clean out the current crop, and people will still sh1t on him I don't necessarily think so. But a champion always gets most credit when he retires. If he cleans out the top contenders of this new crop like Wilder, Fury, Stiverne - maybe even adds another good name, I think he'll cement his place as a top 10 ATG heavyweight.

Bryant Jennings just announced on his instagram page,that he will be fighting Wladimir Klitschko on April 25th. It's not Wlad's fault that he is so far ahead of the other fighters in the division. The only threat I see for him is Stiverne who I think will wipe the floor with Wilder.

This would be a good time for Jennings to write his will. Just in case.

True or false, Povetkin and Pulev were mandatories which were enforced? True or false, Klitschko didn't want to fight Pulev and tried to make another fight, despite Pulev being mando for a year? True or false, Klitschko postponed the purse bid for the Povetkin fight multiple times? I don't hate Wlad. I view him as an A level fighter, a good bloke and one of the HW greats. However, when his voluntary fights are Pianeta, Wach, Mormeck it's clear what they do. Jennings has no shot, he didn't even beat Perez, and the back-up plan? yeah you guessed it spot on...

As to Fury, he's the best placed challenger ranked #2 by TRB and #3 by Ring and now a WBO mandatory. Wlad is once again choosing to fight a lesser ranked opponent in a voluntary defense. If you hate his voluntary defences just disregard them. Wlad earned his right to choose the opponents. He still beat the biggest threads. Fury became relevant only recently - fight will happen and then you will come back and say Wlad is avoiding AJ... Same old, same old..

Oh, I will, and I advise you to do similar. Wladimir has just secured a multi-fight deal in the 'States. He needs to fight a top ranked opponent, preferably American, before setting up a huge unification bout against the winner of Wilder-Stiverne. Fighting Fury does nothing for his legacy. Who has Fury fought? A disillusioned Chisora? Congrats. Let's also get real: Fury has turned down a Klitschko fight before; he'd do the same again. the same logic can be applied to pretty much everyone else too.
