So none of the fighters get individual sponsors now? I mean in football you can't wear beats or Addidas gear... If the UFC signs a deal I can guarantee you all those fighters will be wearing Reebok and not Tap Out while Dana White keeps all the money like he does now. WTF? Doesn't Jon Jones have a exclusive deal with Nike? Sponsorship are a huge part of UFC fighters revenue and sometimes more than they get paid to fight. I think this is gonna screw UFC fighters big time nike cut jones after the dc brawl but fighter can use their sponsors outside of the cage.for ex gsp has an underarmoure deal but has never used them in one of his fights....

It's really confusing. They're going to put everyone in Reebok trunks with standard sponsors and pay the fighters a "sponsorship bonus" based on their arbitrary ranking within their division. It's among the weirdest most pointless things I can recall the UFC doing. Some other good management decisions would be signing that transvestite who fights in the women's division, allowing a randomly selected fan from the crowd to referee title fights, and having the fighters spin a "wheel of fight-ion" and fight whatever name it lands on.

Reebok is only paying UFC $70,000 dollars to put their logo up at UFC events and Dana White gets some free Reebok bumper stickers. The only person involved with combat sports who gets 7 figure endorsement deals is Money May. He invented the frisbee.
