It wouldn't make sense to jump from fighting a B class fighter to the current top p4p. Pac needs to prove that he's still capable of beating the same level guys that Mayweather has. A fight with Maidana at this point would benefit Pac in the same way it did when he fought Hatton, if he manages to beat Maidana and look better than Floyd in the process it will push the demand for that fight through the roof and could pressure both sides to finally reach an agreement. Dropping down to 140lbs does absolutely nothing for Pac's career unless he plans on fighting Swift or Broner. Just because Floyd struggled with him, it doesn't make an A level fighter. Actually, Floyd should probably prove himself vs Bradley, a legit p4p fighter, first before he takes on Manny. Should Floyd be getting in the ring with Manny after he has been fighting a string of B- / C+ fighters (Maidana, Álvarez, and Guerrero)? After all, Manny is a 8 Division World Champion, future Hall of Famer, with explosive speed and power, and who I would say is the best Multidimensional fighter in the sport. BTW!! Manny's market share has taken too much of a hit for Mayweather to compromise. He can't make too many demands after sleeping on his face for 15 minutes and looking OK ever since. The compromise I was referring to was that Floyd can't be demanding Pacquiao leave Arum or that Arum be excluded from the promotion. That's what I meant when I was saying Mayweather needs to stop taking things so personal and being so emotional. The compromise, being that a fight involving fighters on both Mayweather and Pacquiao's recognition level doesn't need to be marred with Floyd's nonsense about leaving promoters and such.

If a 50/50 split wasn't enough for Manny what else is there to do?? Manny killed this fight for good when he renewed his slave Top Rank contract. Oscar had to leave to get the fights he wanted Floyd had to leave to get Oscar Cotto had to leave to get Floyd. See a pattern yet???
