If Pacquaio plans on going back to 140 and Crawford will be moving up to 140 (where has has fought before), I love this match up.
It would be an exciting opponent for Manny, who is young, strong, skilled and gaining popularity.
Of course, Crawford would have to look really good against Beltran, but I think he will, and if the Floyd fight isnt doable, this is the fight I would prefer for Manny, instead of Garcia which seems difficult to make because it would require Haymon signing off on the fight.
What do you guys think of Pacquaio - Crawford?
It a crap fight. Crawford is still on the come up and he is not ready to fight a guy like Manny. Crawford is still in his development stages in boxing.
If the Floyd fight can't be made, what do you think about Pacquaio vs Crawford?
I think it's bullsh*t and hope Manny loses so he would leave boxing if that were to happen. That's Ron Salsa levels of bullsh*t right there, not because Crawford isn't good because Manny is levels about Crawford, LEVELS.
Says the fool that compared Crawford to Mike Dallas Jr.
Your entire life is a neverending butthurt session.
You are not very good at this are you, why don't go back to sucking :bottle:
That you are an expert at
good fight, Crawford has a lot of momentum with recent big wins and is a fresh name in the mix.
Crawford can actually earn Pacquiao's respect with his punches. I'm sure it would be competitive.
Troll..insecure little troll.
Says the troll who has many alt accounts on here. I see you get butthurt easily typical clown on here suck on this :bottle:
it's definitely a very good fight.
if crawford beats beltran he will without a doubt be the #1 lightweight in the world. and he has talked about permanently moving up to 140 before (he's definitely big enough to make the jump).
Crawford beating Beltran does not make him number one lightweights,if doest fight April or vaquez he can't be reguarded as the best lightweight in the world
Mismatch crawford is the new mike dallas once he steps up in weight he gets koed. The only reason crawford should be in ring with pac if he is spit bucket boy
It would be a great fight. I'd prefer a fight with Danny Garcia, but I'm not convinced that Arum is willing to pair Manny with GB/Haymon fighters. Crawford sounds better than Jessie Vargas or Mikey Garcia for sure.
Not only do I say no, but I say, HELL NO!!!
Crawford is a 1 dimensional, "RUN AWAY" kind of fighter. Pac was just in one of these fights with a guy named, "Chris Allgieri. They make for extremely boring fights!
If I am going to put out the money for another Manny fight, I want to see him in another action packed fight. The first person that comes to mind, would be Danny Garcia. Garcia is ranked #1 in the JWW division and he also holds 2 of the belts. This is the only fight that really makes any sense at this point.
Truly, I would much rather see Manny fight another "Multi-Dimensional" fighter, but there isn't that many of then around his weight range. You have Tim Bradley (who Manny just beat), Miguel Cotto (who moved out of Manny's weight range), and Floyd Mayweather (who is crapping his pants at the thought of even having to get in the ring with Manny).
Arum usually, in someway, mentions potential Pacquiao opponents - he's said nothing of Crawford which tells me that's not something he's considering as of now. I think the people at Top Rank would like to continue grooming him. If at any point the fight has potential, you'll hear it from Arum first.
Manny probably should be fighting at 140 given his frame and seeing as though a Mayweather fight will just not happen, I think Danny at 140 is great. Or even as an opponent for Floyd.
Vargas is solid and he did look a little better and definitely stronger versus DeMarco, but I can't get excited for that fight. Floyd, Danny, or...idk, Marquez would interest me and I think the boxing public. I like the Brook fight as well altho I don't see Brook really vying for either guy, but I'm sure he'd take the fight given an offer.
Another opponent moving up to face Manny? This guy just doesn't want any real welterweights anymore you'd think.
Also, if little Gamboa (fast, explosive southpaw) had Crawford rocked, imagine him against Manny.
Any fight against someone credible will do. In my opinion Pac has been kept out of the shark tank for years, fighting sup-par fighters while waiting for a Floyd fight...Any of the top ranked guys like Broner, Garcia, Crawford, Lucas Thurman, Maidana ect...Im excited for any Pac fight IF it's a real challenge...
In the future, maybe. Crawford should fight and beat at least 2 of Postol, Garcia, Provodnikov, Vargas before being considered. I think Pac KO's him though, he was getting hit with some clean hard shots by Gamboa due to his speed.
Not a good fight.
If the Floyd fight fails and seeing if other Haymon fighters are still on the table.
Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, Kell Brook and Amir Khan.
Nope, no desire to see that fight.
If no Floyd, and with the available options, I'd prefer to see Manny take Kell Brook in the UK. (At 147 though, no cw)
So manny can now fight 135 fighters and it is ok? Crawford was just a prospect
Honestly if Manny is not fighting Floyd Mayweather no fight is ok. But lets just say Mayweather fight is off the table. Fighting Crawford is a good fight if he gets by Beltran. He would be the lineal lightweight champion, and even though he's a lightweight, He's still bigger naturally then Manny. Got a height, reach, and I believe he weighed 152 last time he fought Gamboa. There is nothing wrong with them meeting at 140. Manny is a blown up lightweight himself.
I guess I have a higher opinion of Crawford than most...I think he's really good. But we'll see how he looks against Beltran.
I share your opinion on Crawford. That doesn't mean he should be fighting Manny next.
If a Floyd fight can't be made-then fight one of the top ww's. No more JWW at 144 lb CW fights.
