It would be a hell of a war, that's for sure. Too bad Pacquiao will face off with the Algieris and Vargas' of the world instead of guys like Maidana, Matthysse, Thurman, Brook, Khan, Garcia, ect. If Maidana can use good defense, i.e. avoid most of Pacquiao's punches -- and take his power without giving in -- it would be a long night for Manny. It would be an interesting match up. I must have missed the fight where Kotelnik easily beat Maidana, i scored that 7-5 Maidana. Also missed this fight where Khan soundly beat him. I seem to remember Maidana winning 5 or 6 rounds and battering Khan in the last 3. Maidana vs 2009 Pacman gets beat, now in 2015 its a competitive fight where Maidana would be dangerous in every round.

Pac has poor defense, once Maidana finds him it's going to be a bad night for Manny, Pac will land on him early but Maidana would adjust and set traps and bait Manny into savage knockdowns with crisp hooks, he will take 4 to land 2 like Margarito but he has better defense and less conditioning.
