Manny watching it for the first time.
Two observations...
1. he doesn't get the joke, they needed to explain it, but I don't think he completely understands.
2. When did his advisor, Michael Koncz, start speaking with a thick Filipino accent? LOL

I know its been said before but lol at Koncz's new accent. Is he joking around? He sounds like my Pinoy friends from Baguio.
I remember a story on a news network in which a guy had some sort of head injury and when he awoke he spoke in an Irish accent though he had never left the US his whole life.
Here is an interesting article on this phenomenon:

Could this have happened to him?
Guys - if you've ever filmed anything and screened it with a bunch of people, you would be laughing (since it's a joke and since you're probably embarrassed at you acting)...I've been in that situation and know how it feels.
Take it easy, I'm not saying he's dumb guys, just Manny being Manny.
Like when he goes on talk shows and they make jokes, he doesn't immediately get it. I think it's funnier for me because I'm filipino have seen my dad and others act like this.
I'm sure he gets it but Koncz and the girl (Christina Poncher?) both feel like they needed to explain because he was just silent.
Can somebody fill me in on why the hell Koncz has a filipino accent in this video?
Probably spent some time in the Philippines and picked it up lol :lol1:
What kinda reaction Is manny suppose to show when he's in that commercial?? Why would it be funny to him watching it? He's in that commerical, he knows what happen so why would it be funny to him? If there was any laugh and giggles it was done during the shoot of that commercial. Pac is prolly sitting there embarrassed of his acting lol!
I think they were showing Pac the finished version of the commercial. He understood the joke, which is why he participated in the commercial in the first place.

I know Manny isn't the smartest dude in boxing, but damn didn't think he was actually that dumb:pat:
pacquiao is a sage, he only shows emotion to the rational degree
his life is fulfilled and the guy is happy, true wisdom this guy has
take notes and emulate people

1. You ever been the center of attention? Where ppl go out of there way to make you feel comfortable? So much so that ppl even begin to explain jokes, so that they can make sure you're laughing with them? Probably not since u made that observation... But A-list celebrities don't get things explained to them in a million ways because such and such think they're stupid, it's because such and such doesn't want to feel left out by the celebrity...
Manny doesn't need to belittle his opponents to bump himself up! He is respectful of his opponent and doesn't use hate to motivate himself he simply competes!
I doubt Manny is comfortable with the actions and talk Mayweather and guys like Broner use during promotion events. He is an old school fighter who lets his actions in the ring speak for himself!
No head games or degrading others just a gentlemen entering and leaving the ring but during the bout he's looking to kick your head in! I like him!
Doc.
