are they the goosen, tyson, 50 cent level of promoting
or golden boy, top rank
and is it worth signing for them if ur either american or british based, born boxer?
i heard they usually operate in europe, germany
are they the same as k2 promotions?
Sauerland is literally the only really big continental European promoter. For most euro fighters, signing with Sauerland is like winning the lottery. They do a really good job building up their fighters and putting big shows together.
Al Haymon is not really a good comparison because
1) Sauerland's main market doesn't overlap with that of other major promoters. In continental Europe they have no great rivals.
2) Haymon is basically unwilling to work with any other promoter unless he absolutely has to (e.g. Loma vs Russell jr.). As far as I know, Sauerland has no problem working with the British guys, K2, American promoters etc.
Hearn is also a big player on the European market and his taking shares. If he expands he could make an impact internationally.
Saurland are good enough, but as much as it can be a blessing it can be a curse too, you can waste some good years fighting nobodies.
Sauerland are kings at protecting their fighters and allowing them to fight soft touch after soft touch.
For the sake of boxing they are one of the worst promoters in the sport. Think of them as the Al Haymon of Europe.

Sauerland Bros, from what I've been able to gather, are one of the premier promoters in Germany. Second-generation promotional company, with a strong reputation in their market.
Not sure about an America-based fighter, but the Sauerland's are moving into Britain (signing George Groves, working with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Sport).
