All three of those fights were against legit WW's at the time. Ortiz and Maidana were Welterweight champions, who beat other WW champions for the title (No vacant title bullsh*t). Guerrero was legit top 10. Pacquiao hasn't fought an actual WW since Shane Mosley, which is pathetic considering where Mosley was at the time. He's been fighting JWW's coming up in weight.
BLAH BLAH BLAH another Flowmoe with the thousand excuses like his pussie dad floyd.
I order most every PPV but leaning towards NO. Might cave in on fight night.
Thing is I know its pricey but I live in nyc and will easily spend that much anyway if I decide to go out elsewhere. Bars that do show PPV around here charge like $20 and I end up spending $70 anyway with food and drinks.
If I knew of a good stream would probably just watch it like that.
If they paid me $70 I'd watch it but paying for this farce hunk of **** match on ppv is worse to me than supporting the free with subscription Garcia vs Salka. PPV needs to die with Floyd and Manny. Stacked undercards and a world class main event between two stars is what a ppv event should be. If people don't buy and support **** ppv's we'd probably get a decent event.
the Floyd canelo card was pretty good, last year ended with some really nice showtime cards. I hope next year producers better cards like 2013 had
Just on principle I never order PPV. The prices are outragous . Before illegal streams I used to go to bars, but the problem with that is that you have to get to the bar so early or you will have to stand for 3 hours until the main event ends. So I mostly get drunk and eat junk food with a buddy or two on my high def monitor.
I bought that one too, but no one beats me..I bought: Jones-Hopkins II.
Fck Kev don't even remind me of that shtfest. We usually buy all ppv events and get all the family to come over for some grilling and drinking. All's I remember is we all got bored by the fourth or fifth round and we ended up turning the tv off and playing some poker.
Better than paying for Floyd vs. Ortiz, Guerrero, or Maidana x2.
It's honestly not. Not even all that close, lol. Especially at the price tag for those fights.
:lol1: :lol1:
I bought the Mayweather-Marquez PPV. A couple days later I went on Comcast's online chat to speak with one their online reps. I said something along the lines of, "What's this PPV charge for $50, I never ordered a PPV". He explained to me that I ordered the Mayweather-Marquez PPV. I said something like "Oh, I didn't mean to order that I was just reading the preview, guess I'll have to be more careful next time, I can't be wasting $50 dollars like that". He checked into it, gave me a $50 credit on my account, and told me to be more careful next time.
I have a buddy that works for Time Warner cable and he put me up on game. Says you can do one a year. But you have to call in during and complain about the service cutting in/out.
I actually may have already done it this year though.
I buy all PPV....except this one. Going to dinner instead.
This one is that bad and i bought hopkins/dawson
I bought that one too, but no one beats me..I bought: Jones-Hopkins II.
