GEORGE GROVES claims he wants to open up boxing to a new breed of fan. The ambitious super-middleweight is back in action this Saturday against Denis Douglin on the undercard of Tony Bellew and Nathan Cleverly's rematch.
Groves, 26, already has his WBC mandatory position and is confident of getting his shot at champion Anthony Dirrell early in 2015.
His last two fights have included elaborate entrances - arriving on a double-decker for Carl Froch and a fire show for Christopher Rebrasse in September - that he was both praised and criticised for.

I wonder if Groves realizes that if he weren't on the card it would effect the attendance maybe like 1%? Just do what you're supposed to George and then make a fight that people actually care about.
He seems a little too hasty to become a,
"It's up to me to wind those up and crank it up to put on a show because it's show business"
Which is a shame because he can box. He just lacks that level of maturity that could take him to the next level, in the ring and out.
He's less likely to get there by pandering for the attention of kids and playing computer games. I don't want to see him hinder his development as a boxer and a man for the sake of pulling in little Timmy's pocket money.
