Sanchez beat two hall of famers.
Chavez Sr fought undefeated for so long and has a long list of names in his resume
Finito Lopez is the most talented but lacks that marquee name in his resume. There was no Chiquita or Carbajal in his resume
Chavez Sr. also has a bunch of taco vendors and taxi drivers on his resume.
Ill have to go with Salvador Sanchez. Dude was just that good!

I cringe everytime i see people ranking JMM along guys like Chavez sr and Sanchez.
Come on, Morales had a MUCH greater career, probably Barrera too. Marquez greatest achievement were giving Pacquiao hell and KOing him in the last encounter. Other than that, meh.
I also rank Morales's win against Pacquiao higher. Manny was in his absolute physical prime in that fight and was a destroyer, when Marquez got to him in the last fight, Manny was past his best and much slower and explosive than he once was.
sanchez was the greatest!!!!!!!!!!!
Sanchez was probably the most talented and promising, but he didn't live enough to fullfill his whole potential.
I would take Julio Cesar Chavez or Ruben Olivares.
Sanchez, as you can see by my favorites list! He beat THREE Hall of Fame fighters, stopping all of them. He was the best Mexican fighter I have ever seen and one of my three favorite fighters ever. He would have had an even greater career had he lived. He was special. Followed by JCC/JMM and Zarate and others.
Julio Cesar Chavez Senior, that's it. Not Sanchez, not Finito, not Morales or Barrera, not anyone but the great one himself, the champion of champions.
salvador sanchez is the greatest fighter to come out of mexico.
at least in the talent department. resume wise, of course its chavez sr.
but judging based on talent alone taking out resume, salvador sanchez was greater than sr.
That would be ricardo lopez. he was the most talented
ever???? thats difficult to say, but if i had to pick i would say salvador sanchez, with julio cesar chavez sr. behind him.glad you recognize sanchez. :boxing:
