Contrary to what his fans want to believe no one hates him..we hate how they overhype him before he proves himself...He is on the right path and i love watching him fight...He remains calm, collected and is building his momentum...He is destroying his competition and moving up in comp..2015 hopefully he gets the winner of Cotto-Canelo and establish himself as a p4p star
I think GGG is a very talented fighter and has the potential to be a great fighter, but its his fanbase that make me not even want to be a fan of his... they are certainly a delusional bunch, I MUST SAY!
He has what it takes to be as great as kostya tyszu was, maybe even surpass in due time!! And him and his fanbase need to forget about a certain fighter who every hater on here wants to see lose... test yourself at a higher weight GGG! Lol
Tbh I have seen worse guys getting more hype than GGG is getting now. Broner is an obvious example. Canelo is fairly proven now, but he was already insanely hyped when he was fighting the Rhodes' and Lopez's of the world. (And I'm saying this as a fan of both Canelo and Broner.)

I Agree. However Canelo vs Cotto. If Canelo wins which I fully expect him to do, I think Cotto retires and GGG doesn't get the chance to fight Cotto. I want GGG to fight Cotto, Then Canelo, and then Chavez Jr. Once he beats all of them, it sets up an epic showdown between GGG and Andre Ward where my boy Ward can finally be in the Main event of a PPV. Ward would dominate Golovkin easily.

pretty much feel the same way about him. hes an offensive dynamo but im still a little suspect on how he'd do against a great defensive fighter that can absorb and counter. the jury is still out on him but he's definitely saying and doing the right things at this point in his career and has tons of potential
A fight against Canelo/Cotto winner and then holding the Undisputed Middleweight Championship with a 90%+ KO Ratio would be something to marvel at for sure.
Then hopefully we get the Ward/GGG down the road..
GGG is the man, but he needs to stay the hell away from Ward. He's alllllll wrong for him. Otherwise, I struggle to favor anyone else over God of War in a fight that could realistically be made.

he is on a good roll im excited to see him step up in comp
I agree. 2015 could be his breakout party.
On that note, I also feel he's got to hurry the f**k up because he's not in his 20s or late 20s but already in his early 30s and ***** goes down hill quick in boxing.
Of course he hasn't taken just about any damage in his fights so at least he isn't no where near shop worn yet. But he's got to make moves before he's considered wasted potential.
every fanbase has some delusional people, that's why their called fans (fanatics). I never understood why people can not like a fighter because of what some fans say or do. All the big stars have them: Floyd, Pacquiao, Canelo, Cotto, GGG, etc.
Kind of like how The ring magazine makes up their own list by one guy who put broner top 5, etc. Obviously you can spot the people who don't know much about boxing by creating ridiculous p4p lists so their doing USA favor.
I'm a huge GGG fan and have been for a long time but I don't have him in my top ten yet (after he beats Murray I think he'll be deserving of a 9 or 10 spot).
I respect what your saying i can tell you are in no way shape or form a delusional fan of GGG...kudos for that... but with the others who you say 1 thing. For not praising this guy, they jump all over you and it gets annoying you know what i mean... i mean let this guy fight other great fighters so we the fans can see if hes the real deal or not...lets not anoint him by saying "golovking" hes tbe, hes. A "3 weight king of terror from 154-68", let him earn his spot first.... i cant help but argue with these guys everytime and i cant just switch up all of a sudden, im forced to go against him because of his fans. It is what it is.
Not "HATE" at all, he is a excellent fighter, very exciting to watch and seems like a very nice humble guy, can't hold him responsible for a few of his idiot trolling fans on the internet.
Much respect to K2, they're doing a PHENOMENAL JOB promoting GGG, far better than the way Top Rank and GBP promote their fighters who many are FROM THE US and they can't even turn them into stars or a Draw
Another thing that also bugs me is cetain posters have their own made up P4P lists and have GGG and KOVA in their top 5, and a certain someone ranked as no.10...its delusional and it baffles my mind!
